oh no.....big time mites. Can see the shit and webbing on the Querkle. Get on-em now. That's not a minor thing to be forgetting to "spray more often".

Yeah, I know I should be on top of that shit. Speaking of... they just got a fresh spray of Mighty Wash to the tops and bottoms of the plants. I've definitely had my mind on other things, recently. I plan on spraying again in two days and then once more, if they aren't gone. Thanks for keeping me up on my shit!

Disco, my recommendation is to fire of a pyrethrum fogger ASAP & then again 3 days later. These are the ones I use when the need arises http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001H3IK74. Hit me hard & don't let up. I'd also suggest mixing alternating your treatment methods. Pick up some azamax, it's organic and just as safe as the mighty wash.

If your not going to keep up with regular treatments then it wouldn't hurt to add a hot shot no pest stip to the mix. They work great but I would use them too far into flower.

I would use a bomb, but I have pet rats who would be affected by this.

I'll check into the azamax once I get some money. I don't know where my mind has been the past week. I'm back to tending to these girls, though. They'll get the love they need.

Thanks for the recommendations! I know I want to stay organic, so whatever I do needs to be safe for consumption. Been making some crazy edibles, recently.

Come to think of it... That is where I have been. Under the influence of Sativa Dominant Cannabutter.

Speaking of Cannabutter! Here's a fresh two pound batch! This one is Cocunut Oil, though. I can't have any dairy, anymore... View attachment 17364

My main problem now, is that I need to set up a screen or something, to hold the plants' colas up. These Bamboo shoots aren't thick enough.

for rotating plants under a single light like what you have going on a screen wouldn't be the most practical solution, and for the number of colas single stakes aren't really a great one either. I'd recommend tomato cages if you're not packing them in tight enough to hold each other up. super cheap and easy solution.

  10. Discorilla

    Discorilla Shining like a Discoball!

Yeah. It's going to have to be tomato cages with a stake supporting the main stem.

I need a bigger grow area to do this with all the plants, though. The flowering closet fits a total of six 3 gallon pots, and the cages are wider than them. Even those five plants above, are filling up the area.

Not baggin' the grow, but, they look awfully "wet". Like they've had some root zone problems. How have they been taking water? Do the pots ever completely dry out?

  12. Discorilla

    Discorilla Shining like a Discoball!

Yeah, the pots do dry out. It seems like the last week has been a little slower, though. I'll cut the water back, and let em dry out a little more.

*Is there something I should add to the soil, to help this issue out in the future? Like sand, or more perlite? Or would it be an actual issue with the roots, that needs to be treated with something like peroxide?

H2O2 should fix you up. Realize that it will also deter any beneficial bacteria or critters in your soil. That's still better than root rot though.

    Soil Root Rot Treatment -

Mix one part 35% Hydrogen Peroxide with ten parts water.

Water infected plants thoroughly until you see run-off. The soil should bubble as the oxygen is released. Allow the soil to dry. The top 2-3 inches of soil should be completely dry before returning to a regular water regimen. If the process is done correctly, root rot can be treated with only one watering of peroxide.

    Thanks! I'll get on that!

The H202 has been applied to the pots, and there were lots of bubbles on some of the pots. Good call, Resin! This needed to happen.

Since I didn't wanna spend $30 at the garden store, I bought some Walmart 3% crap, and added a half cup per gallon. That was the recommendation I could find for using the cheaper stuff to treat root rot.

Still flowering strong! These ladies are starting to come along nicely. This'll be the third round of Querkle, and it's already looking much better this time around. The Blueberry is gonna weigh a decent amount once it gets finished, and looks like it should be quite stoney again. I don't have much to go off of with ReCon, but it looks like it should be pretty good smoke. The Sour Diesel and Sky Dragon are both working their way along, too! I seem to have a decent collection IMHO.Let me know what you guys think! Querkle was harvested today. The Blueberry Trainwreck and the ReCon will be following soon. Within the next 2 weeks, to give an estimate. I'll post some bud shots, once I get all the trimming and drying done.

There will be another Querkle going into flower tonight. Christmas put me behind on updating things a bit. My Journal will be updated tonight as well.
