Here she is two days from flower, Ms. Mary Magdalene!

And now for the flower room, starting with the Border Haze testers I have been running. All three of these plants are reaching up to the ceiling in the flower room. They are not the most crystally plants for 4 weeks into flower, though. I am expecting these to be some long-flowering sativas.

Luckily I have given myself plenty of room for other strains, too. The next few pics are going to be of some old strains and some new ones that I have been running. I'll start with Kyle Kushman's Strawberry Cough, because this strain is becoming my new favorite. The last run got seeded by the Ghost Train, and it still managed to out-perform all of my strains except for Jesus. Jesus is now producing a quarter pound per plant, and he is some mighty fine smoke!

I would have to look in my other journal as to how far into flower these are. I know the GTH #1 is 11 weeks into flower and still has clear trichomes. She is also producing fist- sized colas that are extremely potent looking. I know I promised bud shots, so I'll post some nug porn in the morning, when it isn't so late.

There are also many other plants getting ready for testing here at the Disco-Zone. Not only is Mary Magdalene going into flower, but my 3 Starbud phenos and "The Chem 91" cut are also going to be put into flower on Monday. I've also got 4 Black Dominas that are going to be sexed and run in the next few weeks, also. Hope you enjoyed!

Congrats on the Mary, quite the stunner all big-n-bushy. Kinda like a fresh saloon girl ready to push up some bud. :redbong:

What hit the Haze? Lookin' like you had a spot of trouble there. Haze's have never done well for me in the mix I use without a lot of hand holding.

Heat and a lack of light, Resin. Those leaves are at the areas of the plants where the light isn't hitting them from on top. The leaves have started wrapping around to compensate. This is what the breeder told me he observed while running the same strain with vertical. With light movers, I would be able to raise my lights to the ceiling and lower them down closer to the floor... where the lights could hit the plants a bit better.

It's either that, or they could just be thirsty in that photo. She doesn't seem to perk up much after watering though, so I don't think that's the case. VPD is common in this strain also, so there are a few things I've had to keep an eye on. Other than the droopy leaves, these Border Haze are some healthy monsters.

My Hazes tended to root zone problems more than anything else. It's as if they had no immunity or something. One day they'd be fine, then by the next watering all hell would be breaking loose. Ended up with quite a few looking like yours, that's why I asked. Consistency was always tough for me with those plants.

I'll definitely be watching them for root-zone issues, then. I know when the pots dry up a bit too much, the plants start to look like the above pics. It could be that I am under-watering them, too. Instead of heat...

The next two upgrades to my garden should be taking care of it, though. Light movers would take care of the curling leaves for the most part, and Blumats will take care of the rootzone issues I believe. That should give me consistency in both light and water.

Hazes are finicky ladies, but I plan on mastering them!

Today marked harvest day for the KKSC and Hawaiian Dutch. They were at day 64 today, and I wanted to try them at 9 weeks. Both are looking quite beautiful IMO.

Summer Vacation starts soon, which means I'll be back on here a little more often! I've got greenhouses to get built this summer, too! I'm dreaming big, and soon I'll be living it!

good luck with your endeavors. I think we all literally live our dream every day, and it's just a matter of realizing that and making the dream what you want it to be. Humans always move in the direction of their current most dominant thought. Our imaginations are just previews of coming attractions.

    Frickin' trimming...

I've thrown 6 of my past plants into freezer bags, because I was sick of trimming. Haha! Got a decent collection of buds for making hash now because of that. I think these two are going to be the first two I've trimmed in a few weeks. :roffl:

Thanks for looking in guys! You're always welcome to come and chill!

Here is Miss Mary Magdalene at day 33 of flower. She is quite a resilient lady, and she is definitely a nice pheno!

Looks fantastic!! If Mary matures at that rate every round, looks like 7 weeks at the most for her. She'd be a dream for me cause I like getting them in and out. I've always got others tangled up in the veg lights waiting their turn for flower space.

They ALL look great!!! But for some reason the White Widow catches my eye and brings a smile. GOOD JOB DUDE!!!!

Mary's mother and father are both finished around 8-9 weeks of flower. She is looking a lot like Jesus with her trichome development. The structure is definitely leaning more Widow, though. She has topped herself off at a height of 4.5 feet, and Jesus hits 6-7 feet easy!

7-8 weeks would be a happy goal for me and this strain. This is only the first seed of my new creation, so seeing this brings me a lot of excitement about the potential of making some F2s.

Eventually, I would like to have a seed menu available somewhere and I would like to provide people with more stable genetics than what is currently provided on the market. This would be done with only F2-F4 stock being available.

I love using F1 stock to see what is available in a particular set of genetics, but a lot of the time these traits will not be passed on to offspring. I'd love to become like Nirvana or Sensi (in the late 90s), and get strains created that are truly what I say they are.

press on my brother and let us/me know when you get there, I'm a little disappointed in my first go round with growing bought seeds. Allot of different genetics from the same seed stock. You shouldn't have to go through 10 or more seeds to find 1 plant like they described on the website.

Here is the vegging side of things. My seeds have been popped into solo cups and they should be making their way along very soon! The white spots are Diatomaceous Earth, so there is no need for concern.
