I think my tap water is up there on one of the worst. What kind of readings do you guys get from the tap? Mine are below.
you're ph is pretty good actually, wouldn't complain about that. You should notice it will flux during the seasons as temps can effect ph while it's in the pipe. PPMs are kinda high, but I don't know how clean your dishes are, lol
Living in scotland i never ever had ph issues or nuthinhg with my water,good clean spring water from the hills.Down south it tastes like when you gulp a moutful in the swimming pool with all the chlorine and shit I buy my own now:bong2:
Chlorine is the least of your worries up here its sulphur and iron content , Nothing like drinking a glass of water that smells like rotten eggs....
Sulfur like Coal country eh. I can remember making a mental note when I was kid that when I took a shower at my gram's house I felt like I smelt worse after than before... Little high on the TDS in the tap but a simple brita filter mod'd would take care of that.
my Ph was consistently above 8. I think it hovered around 8.5. Small town with old, old piping. I think the ppm was about 480-500 and i got Mg deficiency every crop i didn't add tons of epsom salts.
In southern Arizona our tap water tasted like it came from a dirty toilet. Nobody around there drank tap water, it was non-advisable. Bottled water sells well there. The best you can do with tap is load it up with kool-aid or other flavored powders and frigitate it; gotta be cold to knock off the shit-water flavor, but no matter how cold it is, you'll still get sick.
Worst water I have seen was just outside omaha ne in elkhorn. YOu could make coffee and even after filtering it you had two dip off about a half inch of scrum from the water before drinking it. t6
Holy shit! My Dad got well water, I'm gonna check his next time I'm out there. I thought when you had a well you had a full house water filtration system that treated the water? My Dad's water goes through at least 4-5 filters before getting to the house lines, it's in his laundry room. Barf! :icon_confused: Thought I had it bad.
