Great news, but why only those two states I wonder? There are a whole lot more states that are legal on some level. Sounds fishy to me.

Well, it is a start in the right direction. Significant that they won't challenge

WA and CO. But they still reserve the right to fuck with them if they deem

    they are not in "compliance".

    We shall see.

I think the biggest thing is this..they have no choice..

This is the will of the people speaking, if they do not "allow" it, they become oppressors instead of a police force for freedom, they have no choice...

Ummm, you've seen the stories about NSA/DEA/IRS/FBI working together sharing info that's not legally obtained.

Not so sure Obama is for the "police force of freedom"....just another politician

Are you saying he is just going after Republican governors? What makes you think that?

No, what I am saying is if CO and WA were Republican held states he would be on them like flies on shit. Since he doesn't want to cause trouble for Dems in the upcoming election he is bowing out gracefully.

Like I said, you know he authorized the NSA to share illegal gotten data with the DEA/FBI/IRS, and local LEOs to track people like us.

    politics as usual, nothing more.

Should I start posting stats from the war on drugs in his admin? How many places have raided? But not there right, cause they are Dem held states

He went after the exact same states Bush's administration did. I don't think it is a democrat or republican thing, more so that the drug war was still acceptable up to the last two years with the public.

I can't even think of a state that has been raided in his second term that did't have a democrat governor.

DUDES - celebrate. The cops are fucking CRYING ha ha ha ha after all those doors kicked in, lives ruined, people rotting in jail as we speak. Wasted money spent on SWAT teams for small towns.

This is a positive sign. In 20 years, there will still be dry towns in America, where some throw-back redneck Sheriff continues to doggedly cling to cannabis prohibition but they and their towns will be as popular and prosperous as today's dry towns are.

The current Administration needs to shore up it's youth support since they are the ones most upset by the PRISM leaks and NSA spying. What better way to do it than give an inch on the cannabis front? But I ain't bitchin....I'll take a free bone when it's offered.
