to hear that..not the hash..that it didn't go well. Hopefully a smaller machine that tumbles rather that uses and agitator will work better for us. If not, back to the drawing board. asssit:
yeah no biggie, just trial n error stuff as usual, nobody to see it, with my own eyes on this one.....you can only learn so much from a video I did get about an ounce of killer hash tho...cant beat that!! I think I might be open to making a small BHO tube jus tto give it a whirl?!
I'm about to bite on one of those 20 gallon bubble washers. I'd be up to trying some small BHO outfit myself. My wife loves bubble tho.
http://www.buzznn.ca/index.php I have one of these, it fits a half to three quarters of an oz. I get a couple g's per run. I collect all the dry kief from the trim and then make bho with the trim whenever I need it, just for personal wax. I keep a couple g's in little containers. Me and my son take a dab a and dip it in the dry kief and:icon_confused: we call it sugar boogers
Good luck on the tube CC. Stainless or glass is best, polished aluminum third. Even simpler is to do thermos BHO. A workin' cat like you has to have a 64oz wide mouth Stanley thermos laying around. If you need help drop me a PM and I'm sure Stash could give you more than a few tips. Here's the washer we picked up off Craigslist. Liked that it didn't have a center agitator and a separate spin rinse that automatically gives a final clean water wash during cycle.Extra nice is that it tucks away neatly when not in use and makes for an extra work surface. I'll let you know how it works out. about the cam phone pics. agitator Spin rinse with water spigot. back side
I bought one of these today off amazon, except mine came with a new set of bags and 2 of the work bags with zipper for 240....http://www.amazon.com/Bubble-Magic-Extracting-Washing-Machine/dp/B004OH0DE8
CCrete and Lvstickybud, I would love to here and see what you guys think about the bubble magic machines after you use them. I may venture in to buying one myself. :redbong:
Here's one for 80 that looks almost like the same damn thing! http://www.amazon.com/Laundry-Alternative-Miniwash-Portable-Compact/dp/B00NVGA0Z0/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1422327939&sr=8-10&keywords=portable+washing+machine That combined with a 220 Micron Laundry bag and an 8 bag set of bubble bags got me up to $120 before shipping.
Let's be real... The product will pay for itself after the first run! Anything would work, but if you can save yourself a buck or two... I'm game!
I like the way the magic one worked in the video that was posted so I searched those first. I also like how "beefy" they look. They look like they are solidly built. I would rather have one that is going to last than have to replace some plastic looking thing in another year.
I bought it cuz it worked in the videos and looked sweet! But like I said...it said magic on it and I got sucked in quick!!! No jokes tho...within the internet videos and other stuff, there are actual customer reviews and experiences with the bubble magic, as for the cheaper "same" models out there....id rather spend my $$ on a tested setup, who knows about the other washers, might be the same, might not...id rather spend it once
I used mine for the first time Saturday and I really like it. I usually make my bubble in a cooler with a paint mixer and drill. I always do 3 runs with my trim. The first 2 always come out beautiful ( I've been told that I have really good hash and 2 people know I make my own and they have told me that I have it down pat) with the 3rd run being a little "tarry", it doesn't crumble into powder when shaved with a razor. Now onto the washer: The machine is a decently made machine. It seems like it should last quite a while. The timer only goes to 15 minutes but I just ran it through twice. The 20 gallon that I got is bigger than I need. It will hold a LOT of trim. I ran slightly more trim than I usually put into my cooler but I got twice as much product out of it and the hash is a hell of a lot better (very clean) than I previously have done, so no, I didn't have it down pat as they thought. The first 2 runs came out nice and crumbly and very light colored. I squeezed them with a small micron pad and made squares out of them except the last bag, it was so crumbly it wouldn't ball up or stay in a shape. I used my regular bags in my buckets-220, 73 and 38. I wasn't going to use the 220 since the one that came with it has a HUGE zippered 220 bag to load your trim in. I'm glad I did because even with that and the little "lint" filter bag inside the machine I had some small fine particles come out. I ran it a second time and the quality is almost as good as the first run. I didn't do a 3rd run because my bags took forever to drain. I need new bags, maybe bigger since this washer can hold so much. Like I said I ran a little more than usual and I had about 8 gallons of water and about 25 pounds of ice. With 5 gallon bags I had to empty some from the washer and let drain then empty the rest. Even tho I didn't do a 3rd run, I rinsed the washer and sprayed down the bag, ran it for about 5 minutes and rinsed again while I drained the washer and got a nice crumbly product from the 73 but the 38 bag was a little softer when dried. So over all I am very happy with my choice. The first run I got 18.5 grams. The 2nd was just under 17 grams. I didn't weigh the 3rd run which was only really a rinse but I'd guess about 12-15. I started smoking it before I had a chance and gave away about 8 grams for people to enjoy the Super Bowl with.
I'll post a video of my runs with the cheapo Washer once I get it delivered. I am sure it's going to produce some mighty fine hash!
