Seeing more illegal/legal weed in Fl.

Seems like alot of people here are showing up with weed in medical packaged containers here in Fl lately. I smoked a joint that was dipped in oil then coated in a shatter like glaze. It looked like a baseball bat and had a white paper or plastic round peice at the toke end. Came in a tube that had medical stuff on it. Guess the guy paid $60 for it from someone that shipped it. Wonder what it cost orignally. Was good shit. Almost as good as mine....:coolbounce: But really that coating was sweet!!!! Oh the good days are here.

 

wow, we have the opposite around me, the 'legal' weed is forcing the prices down because a border state is flooding the market

 

The tokers go to Colo and pay huge prices for the novelty. The slingers want us illicit growers to match the wholesale price of legal market overage. The former pays more, the latter pays less. I'm starting to get more than a little pissed as wholesale price keeps dipping but the retail prices stay the same.


But yeah....starting to notice the new breed around here. The wealthy pot snob. They mail order their weed or buy from a guy who claims to. It has the cool official looking labels that you see in Colorado or a dispensary, usually has a really cool name too. These people generally don't know S.H.I.T. about weed. So they sit and crumble bright green bone dry bud while telling me there's nothing even close to how good it is unless...well...you know...you happen to travel or "have a guy".


What they don't realize is that to a real pot snob the shit in that tray is the equivalent of Annie Green Springs ripple wine.


Then there's the weed slinger with a "friend" in a legal state who wants to pay legal state wholesale prices....but doesn't want to drive so is willing to do *me* a favor by buying locally.....at reduced prices.


Either I'm nuts or the entire world is stupid. Thinking a cave with a 100amp circuit and wifi is the solution until folks start making sense again. Hide out and grow and smoke and let the lizards eat each other.

 

Yeah, the kid that had the joint, was all of a sudden an expert and i was the one with 15 yrs of growing experience, go figure. His legal stuff was "the best". Mine was "good but not cured enough"...


Then my nephew just lastnight, had weed he got mailed from a guy in CA. It was good. He didnt say how much but i am sure it was more than local stuff. People around here just think if its from legal states its better.


My thing is, i like to grow one or two good strains and enjoy, hook up some buddies. Now its everyone saying, got this from another state, its this great weed, and they can get it and all these flavors anytime so they dont need a buddy like me unless they cant get. I am sloppy seconds. Oh well, at least mine is almost free for me and its good.

honestly i'm not a fan of cali weed. haven't seen co yet and I loathe michigan

 

I love and hate Michigan. It's a bane to any illicit grower within a day's drive of it's borders. The caregiver/provider plant counts and amount of weed able to be legally transferred to patients don't add up correctly. Add in that weight limits on what a provider can retain are ridiculously low and you create more weed going into the blackmarket than actual legal weed being sold.

 

Is legal around $200 a zip? Just guessing for mid strains. No wonder they need huge wearhouses, the guy with the investment cash rips off farmers so they have to grow a shitload to make good cash then the investment guys take the consumer cash all day long at the pot shop.

my youngest spent a few years in CA doing the outdoor thing, mostly working for others but did have few patches of her own as well. she'd come back every few months and sling some Cali nugs, it was always very good smoke but even she'd admit it couldn't hold a candle to what papa made in the closet. I've been to CO more than a time or two and had the pleasure of sampling smoke from 2-3 different dispensaries and again it was very good toke but the quality just wasn't there. Got me high as fuck but the buds were always dry and crumbly too, what's more everyone but me liked it that way. Now I'm sure that there's no shortage of equally good weed coming from CO & CA but I don't think it's making it's way to the masses and probably never will.


The fact is that no one outside of our little cultivators circle knows what it's like to truly smoke top shelf weed. asssit:asssit::redbong:

 

Yeah $60 for the joint i seen/tasted was pricey. Was a treat thou. I def need to put some joints in plastic tubes and make up cool name for a label, That will be $40 each please. :roffl:

 

I know someone who was going to start growing because he bought 'hydro seeds' no shit....:5eek: dude has no clue what I do or anything, he was just blabbing at a get together
