Sup ppl :passit: Been a while but i still like to pop by and smoke a fatty with youse and let you know how I'm doing

I got married to Mrs Seattle that i had told youse i got engaged to. She flew back to Seattle recently and she'll be back out once I've got $5000 together to pay for her and her sons Visa plus surcharges to use our free healthcare system. It's a spendy process but worth it .

Today i signed a new tenancy agreement and I've made my mrs my co-tenant now so she officially has a UK residence which helps with the Visa application aswell....

So anyways... I'm 37 and she's 40, we spoke about kids and how we both raised our kids on our own (her sons 16 ,mines is 8) and we both said we had always harboured a desire to do it again and do it properly this time but ONLY if we met the right person.....Several years went by and i guess we both kinda assumed our time had passed.

Just before she went home i came out the bath one day only to be showed some app on her phone, hearing something mumbled about "Ovulation Day" and "Optimum" before dragging cavewoman style into bed, much to my delight of course!

So when she returned home she wasnt feeling herself and was a day late, i called it right away cos she can set her clock by her "body calendar" Two days later she succumbs to curiosity and buys a pregnancy testing kit. The test confirmed what we suspected: PREGNANT :icon_biggrin:

So there's gonna be another Mini-Me in the world :5eek: I'd love a girl but as the Mrs pointed out to me , between me and ALL my other 4 siblings we have 7 boys and ZERO girls so We're praying for a miracle really  .....as i said to her, "I'll just be happy if mother & baby are healthy" .

Anyways that's my news :passit: I got engaged on the Meridian Line at Greenwich Observatory on 4th July after sailing up and down the Thames, Chapagne breakfast on the London Eye and we went to a cool dark skies show at the Greenwich planetarium. Proposing to her was weird cos there was like a 2hour queue just to have your picture taken on the actual Greenwich Meridian Timeline but our last boat up river from Greenwich, to Westminster then tube to Canary Wharf where our hotel was located, was at 5pm and it was 4.30pm so i just hijacked it sort of lol. The line extends the length of the whole park but this is where it starts and the fact we'd spent the previous year in a relationship with 4700 miles, 8 hours and a hemisphere between us , then it was kinda symbolic for her to stand on the Eastern Hemisphere and me on the Western Hemisphere at the very centre of measured time on our planet.

I had forgot there were about 300-400 chinese tourist all queued up in a winding snakey queue behind me .....until they all started applauding when Jenn said Yes  I was just grateful to get back to hotel, showered and out for a meal and to a swanky penthouse club in a landmark skyscraper in London where i could get drunk on Petron shots and cocktails!

Anyways ,when she went back to the states we realised how badly we missed each other and next thing i knew she was on her way back and we got married last month at Gretna Green in Scotland ( a historic town for 'eloping' back in 'Ye Olde Timeth' ) then went for a few days break just me and her to Manchester and the coastline at Blackpool beach.

Wedding wa sgreat, my uncle and family from Canada even made it over to celebrate with us. Now she's stateside just waiting on me telling her I have the money....so far I've banked a few grand but now i know shes carrying my child then i NEED to get her out here ASAP, to the point it's been freaking me out with anxiety. It'll happen though.

So another baby Ap enters the world, DOUBLE TROUBLE lol!! So anyways , life is good. I have met the ONE and we're on the last lap of the track before the finish line. OK, im needing to stop typing and go roll a smoke. Just wanted to warn you all a baby Ap is about to set loose on the world nxt July 23d:jj:

TA, Let me start by saying I could not be happier for you and your new family. :coolbounce: We both joined GK and became mods together. We had a couple chats face to face on Skyp. wouldn't mind a chat in the future. We had a few ups and downs over the years and threw all that I always thought of you as a friend and still do.

TA, you have had your share of set backs in life like most of us, and a few most will never have. But you have always impressed me how you always came back from adversity and worked on improving yourself.

Now because of all the hard work things are going your way. You deserve it buddy!

Congratulations again on your marriage and your new family.

We will be expecting updates! :bravo:

    You know how we do!

Go big or go home SKuzz, you know how us Brits roll! :rocker:

Nah m8 it was as simple as i'm 37 been through shit, she's just hit 40 and likewise been through bad shit. We both been avoiding relationships cos we both like our own space to sit ,play ps4 , watch movies whatever... it's that rare as fuck moment that happens once in a lifetime where you meet someone and actually think "My God, I've been settling for second best all my life cos this is how the REAL thing SHOULD taste, feel, look, smell!" etc :5eek:

Once you find that then there's no point in dragging it out. Boom, we got engaged after a year of "online dating" with several hour phonecalls and skype sessions. She came over , we connected even better than we did talking on the phone and onlline, the attraction and everything was there and we got the whole "soulmate" thing going on...why wait? Soon as she got home we made plans to get her back out here ASAP to get married. Soon as we got married we consciously tried for a kid and all the time believing that old scottish proverb "whits for ye , wont go by ye" ...whats meant to be will be. Never a doubt in my mind, once i knew she felt the same it was and is full steam ahead. Got a lot of years of loving to catch up on and a whole new chapter to stat writing.... Got myself a co-author, i like the sound of that

Everyone :passit: THANK YOU FOR THE KIND WISHES..... MRGj, Yes my friend, we've came through here together and come next summer that'll be a decade we've known each other (me and GK CARPENTER were having the same conversation recently) ... Holy shit has my life changed dramatically... this forums like the permanent embarrassing diary  Its also good to see how far I've grown up in the last 10 years and how Ive came through the test life has thrown at me. Thanks for the kind words :icon_biggrin: :ebert:
