Trump ain't got a chance in hell for the long run. If he gains the nomination Hillary or Sanders will mop him up right quick.

Yeah Res, he has a lot of backing now. But he'll throw a big wedge in the Republican party, piss a lot of them off, and loose the votes he'll need in the end. He could be the best thing to happen to the Democrats!!!

    Be Cool, CG

Hillary has 502 to Sanders 70 due to the fact that there are delagates that the people do not vote for.

    Interesting turn of events.

Trump was telling the story of how a general; "Donald Trump on Friday cited an apocryphal story about a U.S. general who purportedly dipped bullets in pigs' blood to execute Muslim prisoners a century ago in an effort to deter Islamic terrorism."

All we need then according to future President Trump is a lot of Pig's blood and a bullet for every person.

    Are we that stoned?

I'll be odd man out, no way i can back a democrat this time. All the republicans are crazy that's without question...but no hillary, enough of the ruling class, and bernie is a joke in my opinion, like how people look at trump ( including me) i look at bernie. That cant be really who someone supports, he's never worked a day in his life. he's exactly whats wrong this country

Pardon.. I'm not into flame throwing but I was confused. Are you saying Sanders has not worked or Trump? You use the masculine "he." Thanks for clearing that up.

Both, but more so sanders. Seriously who never worked a real job for real money. And it's not like he was a hippie farming.

His economic policy is some what laughable.

Honestly Clinton is most likely going to be president, which how sad is that.

All around big joke, the only serious candidate out there right now is kasich and he'll be out soon enough

I understand people want change, but we're in debt enough, I don't see spending 20 trillion more as a good thing. And the man's background, I honestly don't see that as someone for the people.

    Fractional Reserve Banking

Ever hear about Fractional Reserve Banking? It's interesting to note Money is imaginary.

Here is an interesting series of films. I think this link is the one that explains Fractional Reserve Banking which is what we in the USA have.

    This is the one.

The other two are worthy of watching as well. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

So my reply is that our debt is a monetary product we sell to the world. So the more debt, the more the investment of the planet's resources. This is what I have taken away from watching those films. Therefore we raise the debt as we acquire resources because this is the true debt we are making. As to spending we have traditionally applied this profit by funding a military that makes sure we can get more.

I am not one who knows enough to be accurate but together we can be accurate enough.

    Enjoy!

Hooo boy, now we've plunged into the shit. Zeitgeist and fractional reserve banking? And you believe it's simply a good way to reap planetary resources? Hope I misunderstood that.

fractional reserve banking has been and always will be part of the economic system for better or worse.....your local bank wouldn't exist if it wasn't for this.

but debt is what will lead to more wars, debt causes chaos. It can be easily argued that Germany didn't start WWII, the treaty of versailles did because of the crushing debt incurred by germany.

bernie supporters fail to realize this, free things come at a price, and one day that money or blood is owed for the 'free' stuff acquired.

i just for the life of me don't see how anyone can support his economic policy that will actually create more poverty and wars...it's like arguing we should start a war with china now to avoid our debt to them. frankly a trade war would be more productive even though it would harm us in the short term but doesn't lead to nukes being launched in a generation

Sanders is interesting that's for sure.

According to DemocracyNow.org We are building 6 new Nuclear Subs at 8 billion dollars each and going to overhaul our nuclear missiles to the tune of trillions of dollars. What I take away from that is we have the money for Sanders it's just that we spend it on more war.

1 trillion is not the 20 trillion bernie is proposing. no serious economist thinks his plans will work, his handling of the VA shows he's either incompetent or actually thinks it's ok for people to die while waiting for care in regards to his medicare for all...which have you seen Britain's doctors lately? But his initial response to vets dying under his watch was to defend the VA and wait times, I love how he's spun that though.

Also, like it or not, arms trade is what america does best. Not only does it provide extremely high paying jobs, but also technology and goods sold to other countries. Its one of the backbones to our economy. You just can't get rid of that.

But even if you are against arms, you have to realize there are bad people in this world. We have to have a strong military to deter some actions by others such as blocking trade routes or openly challenging us. Having the latest and greatest actually decreases the chance of all out war...Si vis pacem, para bellum

The fact that Bernie is a serious candidate for dems is why Trump is popular.

Why people don't realize that confuses me. You have a man telling middle class white families that their children are no longer welcome in America and demonizing them....of course they are going to go with the one person speaking against it...no matter how radical. He's going to spend what like a trillion that 'white's need not apply for'....did you see the pbs debate? he seemed utterly dumbfounded that whites actually have higher rate of poverty, the look was priceless...it never occurred to this man.

Look at what happened in Iraq, I know I know, Bush started the war....but he actually ended that war as well. IT was relatively peaceful when Bush left office. It wasn't until Obama went against the will of the country and their actual vote in 2010 that shit hit the fan. When sunnis came out in force to vote against a corrupt government that was cracking down on them for past crimes ( sunni running iraq even though minority) Obama felt obligated to right the historic wrong and helped the shiites retain power and it emboldened them to commit even worse crimes leaving the Sunnis to create ISIS as it was the only option. I bring this up because liberals refuse to see this, it's like it never happened....but it's the cause for all the violence right now.....and they want to do that in America....and Bernie Sanders thinks ISIS exists because of climate change..What the actual fuck???

    But Trump is no better.

They are equally full of shit, but Bernie really does disgust me. He's a bum, never having a job, never worked a 40 week until after he was 40. He wasn't a hippie living on tour, he was a bum taking from others so he didn't have to work for a living....that's my honest opinion of him. The only job he's ever had was a politician, for 30+ years....so if things are so bad, that actually makes him a really shitty politician. But you have his supporters calling him the amendment king etc...because they're not smart enough to realize that's actually backs up him being a shitty politicians, because he can't get laws passed that he's written by building support for his cause, he instead attaches amendments to laws that are going to pass

Our format has changed so I will work within the quote format. I can do that.

To preface this reply Sanders's politics seems to be trying to swing us back left meaning he is aiming at a centrist result and that is what I see as the attractiveness of his politics.

Remember the Nazis' kept inching Right without any swing back. In the USA we have checks and balances yet we are still pushing Right so is that Nazi? If we cannot swing left to go back to center then yes it is.

Now I will comment as in a conversation where you say and I reply. Thank you for the conversation.

    -------

I am not informed on the details of costs so I cannot counter.

Tax payers monies pay for these things.

Sorry I deleted some of the last in Latin I suppose.

You are obviously a Right Winger wanting us to continue right. Yet you are telling the truth and that truth is we have been dicks so long that we will be a pussy if we stop being a dick. I think that sums it up for that paragraph. But what kind of dick are we really? Stripping our woman of reproductive rights? Trying to keep poor people from a doctor? Keeping the worker as poor as we can so others can make as much money as possible?

    Interesting reply don't you think?

I disagree, the fact that he (Trump) has had media exposure makes him familiar to many and at that his persona is identifiable to many where the others have nearly no previous exposure. Just look at Bush.. He tried to tap into the "BRAND" but we are not drinking that beer now.

Your use of the term "dems" suggests you are on the offensive and wish to bolster the continuing push to the Right in perspective.

You failed to mention how the middle aged white working class man is killing himself with opiates at an alarming rate after "they" have lost their livelihood en-mass because of the Great Recession.

I happen to be one of those guys but I am yet to kill myself. Because of autism I never took on high rents so letting the good times roll

Okay not much to work with here it's a rant as best as I can tell. I am the working poor so I will vote for what makes it better for people like me.. Health care, Income, and legalization are on the top of my list. Sanders is not against so that is a plus...

It's a long road to November.. We can have fun I promise.\\

The thing is to not vote against yourself whoever you are.

    Thanks for the conversation.

My vote is going to the person i think can bring the country back to its former status of a "super power". We need to undo everything Obama did, first and foremost claim our spot as a global leader. Second get the debt under control. Legalizing Marijuana is down at the bottom of the list for me, i would rather have my country back than legal pot.

first off, conversation is always good. if you don't agree but refuse to have conversation, how is common ground found? plus all ideas are welcome here, as long as everyone is respectful to one another. just because i don't agree with you doesn't mean anything except i don't agree

But i would disagree with this country inching right, we swung left after Obamas second term..whom i voted for both times.

The costs estimated for Sanders plans are roughly 20 trillion. He refuses to put out numbers because they are absurdly high. He says his plans are paid for but no economist thinks it possible. He thinks he will have growth over 5% a quarter for years on end to pay for his plan....that will never happen. Plus he fails to include the rising cost things, because frankly as time goes on, prices go up

Right winger? far from it. But yes we become the pussy if were not the dick in your terms. I highly doubt Russia, NK, China etc will say hey, America is finally being nice, lets sing Kum Ba Yah my Lord with them. It's not going to happen, what will happen is US interests abroad will taken by them.

And I don't know how women's reproductive rights has to do with this issue. These are just ad hom attacks from leftists, nothing more. That debate was settled prior to my birth and frankly i'm not just pro-choice, I'm pro abortion. Kids that have a chance aren't aborted in my views, if someone is prego if a loving home there's next to a 0 chance of that baby being aborted. But a prego mom without support etc etc is may choose to terminate which in my eyes is prob the best option. Because without a firm base of support both mother and child will live in poverty and just keep repeating the cycle.

And keeping the poor from the doctor? I don't even know what to say about that. This is almost a nonsense point, specially since Obamacare required everyone to have insurance. But what most don't realize it actually shifts the burden to the poor to pay their fair share vs hospitals writing off that cost. Prior to Obamacare all hosp were required to care for patient no matter their ability to pay, same is true now but patients are required to pay.

But Bernie's plan actually calls for far worse, VA style healthcare for all. To me this is insulting, I can go to VA for free care.....I wouldn't step foot in one of those place because I'd prob be dead and cured by the time I seen a doctor. Which brings up another point, have you seen UK's medical crisis going on? Doctors on strike etc. How do you think that's a good thing? You get less care than what was available prior to even ACA.

And I don't know how you equate anything to trying to keep workers poor. If anything it's the exact opposite, I would really like to see your line of thinking on this....because telling people they can become more isn't trying to oppress them, if anything it's trying to give them freedom over their future.

You see, most of all us have been working poor. Hell i was raised in single family home that was extremely poor but I watched my mother work her way and us out of poverty. Depending on others keeps you in poverty, you are the only one that can get yourself out.

In the end, you are explaining my disdain for Sanders.

Sanders was never working poor, he didn't want to work so he was poor. He lived off his parents money and when that ran out lived off others. All while trying to become a politician because his ideas are so great...but actually working like the rest of us was beneath him. He more resembles Charlie Manson than LBJ.

Seriously, he thinks he's better than you, or me, or anyone else. He'll tell you how your life should work, well fuck, why don't we all live life like he did. Lets all sit around and do absolutely nothing but complain about how bad things are. But he doesn't want that, you should work, he's going to give you 15/hr...why i don't know, he surely didn't work so why should you have to?

In the end, there's just a difference in what qualities we wish to see in a leader, because there's certain people i would follow into the deepest pits of hell, only because I know they would be in front of me leading the way....same as the people whom I oversee daily, I would never ask them to do something i haven't or wasn't willing to do
