mine was in my bedroom closet of my first house in my early 20's Was a refr tech back then and used scavenged hvac parts and a 250w HPS from Home Depot to make a 2'x2'x6' box. The bottom was a hollow light trap air intake and the fan was mounted in the box on the side. I used miracle grow everything and it sucked. The box was way to small for even one plant, and it got way too hot. Don't do what I did None the less, I did get some herb from it and it wasn't the worst I've ever had. Where did you first grow? Bubble gum x bigbud from seed. Gave to me from the friend who showed me the way. Vegged under florecent and flowered under 400 w hps. In soil with peters 20-20-20 veg fert and a bloom booster for flower. First bud is part of my avatar pic. The grow Set up was in a bedroom closet, bathroom fan for exaust to the attic. Was a great success.
Mine was in a spare bedroom of my first apt, dwc tote setup with a 400watt hps , bag seed and GH 3 part.. was surprisingly successful lol but sketchy as hell at the time lol
Planted a seed, and the sob grew. I started reading and bought a bps light. To many people opened the door and hit the lights on in dark time, like it was a showpiece, it sucked lol
my first grow, I told a family member and he told two people and they told 4 people....then everyone wanted to see plants or get free weed like it didnt cost anything to grow. I had to hide stuff in bathroom and told everyone I quit and showed them the closet, so they all thought I got my stuff from a friend from then on and I never told anyone again. I never knew about rule number 1 till I joined GK. Rule #1....Dont tell anyone.
My first grow was sad, a plywood box in the attic of my garage in the middle of summer with m.h's, wasn't much better when i moved it down into the garage. Tall, all scraggly and yellow leafed, i had no idea about nutes, tables or hempy. Then i found G.K and turned it into a lush green proper grow room, THANKS G.K
Damp basement that looked like a dungeon. We used to call it the raper basement. It was a michigan basement. Miracle grow, 400 watt MH and some old fish tank florescents. Then it all got ripped down by the bitch mom of the owner who was not even supose to be there.
Got a bunch of seeds from a friend and went up in the hills above kaena point on the north shore of HI and planted them. The only thing that got high were the wild pigs.
4ft flouros and a closet growing a bagseed Mexi Red about a million years ago. Then 900w light arrays composed of 6-150w HPS security lamps in an attic. Then busted with no growing for a year. After that it was the Frankenfridge. Retired the fridge and went full on nutjob with the trailer garden, basement garden, spare outbuilding garden. In so deep now it's either jail or legalize for the next experience.
My first grow was a disaster. I bought great seeds of girl scout cookies made a proper environment, did almost everything I could, but the weed was on taste like grass. Nothing compared to the strain I loved to smoke.
Mine was bag seed under a 300W halogen in a closet back in the year 2000. I did grow it out to fruition but it wasn't anything to write home about. Joined GK in 2002 and the rest was all a learning experience.
3 plants under a 400 watt mh then hps. didn't top and the damn things went to 6 feet tall. ok bud but nothing special.
