I've been gone for a couple of weeks. Seems like some old-timers (like herbsparky) aren't here anymore. WTF?
yup, times are changing and peeps are moving on. Its getting to the stage when im here very little now, except for comic relief. And the why is purely because there is a pro-active Webmaster out there who cares about his site. No other reason. (Edited by PutTheKnivesOn at 5:46 pm on April 20, 2005)
Who is this "Webby" and what's this new site I keep on reading about?? if this is a dumb question but as you all know, I am kind of new around here.
I was sent a pm by one of my friends telling me of the new site that many former GK members have moved to. I won't post it because, to my knowledge, no one else has. But it seems that webby here doesn't really care if this site goes under or not, and that's sad. For all it's faults, I had lots of good times in the 2.5 years I've been here. And I have no intention of stopping/posting here. But the other site seems to have a webmaster who cares about his site (like webby here USED to).
I'm sure webby still cares about the site.....I did go over and sign up on the "Other" site and "checked it out", but I really like the way this site is put together,kind of my birthplace for growing so to speak. I don't plan on not comming back, I'll probably hang for another couple of years if were still here.....

I still don't see why everybody says there is something wrong with this site!! I seriously don't see any problems myself. Did they move cause of all of the dumb questions that sometimes get posted cause if so I guess I'm to blame somewhat. Thanks again to all of the vets. of growing that have helped me get started. I really do appreciate it!!
mary, I never said I was leaving GK. Unless I'm mistaken, it's ok for Americans to visit more than one site. I'll keep on keeping on, helping newbies when I can and enjoying the banter of everyone (well, almost everyone) at BOTH sites.
