so after discovering that one of my girls was turning amber ahead of the others i harvested her tonight. that was a shitload of work and i still have two more to do...
its a paper bag from the grocery store, as per herbsparky's EXCELLENT harvest instructions. my hat is off (Edited by nugsmoke at 11:47 pm on Jan. 6, 2006)
my little digi cant weigh it my guess is 1.5 oz dry maybe 2 (Edited by nugsmoke at 1:12 am on Jan. 7, 2006)
wow.. beautiful looking nugs there nugsmoke. I believe this is the hardest part of the process. happy smoking.
last night i took a nug that weighed 4g and put it on my monitor. 18 hours later it is 1.3g, CRISPY and not that bad tasting. of course im high as fuuuuuck right now too.
nice pull so far..what was the strain(s) again? and how long did you let em go? (Edited by bdub420 at 4:41 pm on Jan. 7, 2006)
well this one just was some great bud that had a stray seed in it, which luckily was female. definitely indica, it was like a foot shorter than the others. im starting to think it might be closer to 2 oz dry...definitely not sure. one was a seed i took from some mids just to see what it was like grown correctly. its trikes are still clear and it seems like there are less of them overall. still a little frosty and lots of very spiky hairs. im interested to see what kind of smoke ill get out of her. the last one is dutch passion power plant, the feminized variety. it kicks ass, extremely frosty and delicious.
That first pic of your girl with the nug resting on her chest is a very nice photo! Im not one to use words like sexy or horny or love, but that first picture is SEXY ASS HELL, even without the nug in it. Nice shape on that girl.
just finished harvesting the second plant (power plant). seems like somehow i pulled more from this sativa than my indica. look back at the other pic...
Fuckin eh man! That looks like some quality chronic. Just wondering though what kind of increase did you see in your electricity bill. Since this is the type of grow id like to try it would be worth knowing for future refrence.
not much. we felt it during 18/6 (maybe $30 extra), but by the time 12/12 rolled around we had adopted a few conservation techniques (including auto computer hibernation) and our bill was actually LESS than it had been before this whole thing.
