makes sense to most of us Randy, I think it is mainly for the bennifit of the newbies who don't know any better and may take the adive of someone who has no idea what they are talking about.

 

nobody is claiming that it would. it's here on v board to use or not to use. each member has the option to turn it off. if you don't wanna pat someone on the back for sharing some useful info you don't have to. or vice versa.

I changed all the sayings now and you can now see your 'rep power' over to the right if you have your rep system turned 'on'. Otherwise it just says '0'.


I may tweek the values more later as time goes on, but for now let's see how it goes.

I agree with you Randy.. Its pretty self explainatory in my oppinion.. But not all people think this way. This system might help new growers not be so easily influenced by bullshit..to know who to listen to.. and who not to listen to..

It's due to our dedicated Mods, Admin, Webby, the long time members and yes even the newbies that Growkind is what it is today.


I've checked out a lot of different grow sites all over the net as I'm sure a lot of you have. With so many sites it's easy to feel a little like Goldylox, good thing then that GK has a quality that just can't be duplicated, "it is just right". I've always felt at home when I'm here as opposed to other places. And I think most members here have the interests of GK at heart, which shows I hope.


It aint easy running a place like this, keep up the great work GK.

Rep power is based on several factors...some of which are the number of posts you have and time you've been here. I forget the others right now. Mine is so damn high because i have damn near 19,000 posts! :eusa_doh:


Needless to say...I can make ya or break ya on the rep points. :qshatter: I try to save my 'power' for those that truely deserve it. Like I said...I may tweek things after I see how it runs.
