Listening to the Bee Gees. 3/4 the Brothers are gone, but the music still moves me. Any DISCO fans out there?

I had a disco sucks T shirt in the 70's, but now that I'm older and more secure in my own things I'll listen to it. I don't own any, but if it comes on the radio I can dig it. A lot of rock bands had some disco influence in their music. My favorite, KISS even did. Listen to New York Groove and tell me that's not a disco guitar rhythm.

The queen of disco also died recently. My favorite song of hers is not disco but techno ahead of its time, thanks to Giorgio Moroder...

I grew up during the disco era also. Wasn't a fan, but you couldn't get away from it. It was freakin' everywhere.

I liked most of the songs on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, some ABBA, and a few other random songs here and there, but that's about it. Of the entire disco era, the BeeGees were definitely my most tolerated. When KISS went disco though, I rebelled against KISS, and all things disco and started getting into heavier metal. Sabbath, Zeppelin, Purple, AC/DC, etc.
