my plant is growing outdoors and is about 3 or 4 weeks old. is the size ok? should i be using ferts yet?and exactly how long until harvesting? i heard 12 weeks but it dosnt look that way by growing rate.does it matter how big plant is before harvesting?and without other plants in container will it die? need to know asap (Edited by locos13 at 2:17 pm on May 18, 2005)
I start ferting after 10-15 days of regular growth. Yours should be more than ready to be ferted. Start at half dosage and gradually increase. 2 weeks before harvest is when I stop ferting. I will flush the soil and only feed them plain water from then until harvest. Some people don't bother flushing they just fert until harvest. I believe flushing helps with the taste and overall quality of the buds. Plants are done when the trichomes go milky white. You need a special lense to see them. One plant per pot, nothing else.
