I think he maybe VP material? Do you think someone will pick him up?

    nippie preachin' and pimpin'

they should, i think if trump picked him up they would win a general election...i think even him running he would easily win general election.

for how much shit gets talked about ohio, the state is doing really really well, taxes are down, unemployment is down, it's middle of the road type place. everything is welcome from pot to guns...like how it should be nationally

I don't know why he didn't get more press going in the beginning. I'd love to see him and Paul get together, but at this point Kasich is just pulling votes from Rubio, which I think is good because i don't like rubio, lol. he's the problem in washington, not him per se, but the people like him on both sides of the isle

Oh there is a lot more to this political cycle than I. Trumps penis size is now the question of the day according to Trump himself.

However I do get it; a white man from Texas being called "Boy" must be fighting words however feel free to call me a California boy because I was born here, that may be the difference that makes a difference.

But yes I hope this thread is heated and interesting don't you? Abusive no.

  5. nippie

    nippie preachin' and pimpin'

Word of advice, 'boy' is fighting words in many many communities. I know of neighborhoods where you get shot over that. That's not a texan thing, that's for sure.

Also, no need to imply any member is racist based off who he so chooses to back for president or what part of they come from....in reference to white man comment.

Heated and interesting is fine, but no need to cause a ruckus unless you are attacking politician, or other public persona...not GK members.

But yea, I honestly thought he was going to whip it out during the debate.

Not sure just yet but it will be the one that best represents the working people. Who that will be is the question.

Truthfully Trump is a wild card because he actually hasn't truly endorsed the Republican agenda but will he need our attention enough to get reelected to actual raise Federal minimum wage to fifteen an hour in his first term? Look no one can afford health care at what $7.25 an hour so the tax payers have to pay so lets do the right thing for the working poor which I am.

To jab back in fun and jest : What comes from Texas.. Neutered bovine yes?

Have fun friends this is sport posting, just don't go shoot up your local theater.

LOL I have a HRC Primary supporter card. So yes I have been there done that.

I also send Sanders money.. He did what forty million in a week? He is worth four hundred thousand. Forty million in less than a month? Simply awesome.

This is a seriously interesting election.

I'm not upset and yes we should talk about our "boy" issues. Attacking? My weapon would be bits as in 10101010111100111001100 so no I am not violent and I cannot do anything to anyone they are not doing to themselves already.

But yeah with Trump, people may be tired of politically correct. Is this what is really going on even here? Just asking is all.

I am not after anyone but if what we write makes people think I am all for that. Just don't go shoot up planned parenthood please.

"Son"...hehehe...you been watching too many liberal talking heads. Conservatives aren't the next McVeigh in the waiting any more than a democratic socialist is the next Carl Marx.

The support for Trump is that he's a "none of the above" vote for repubs and independents who are sick of being shoehorned by government. He was right when he said he could shoot somebody and his supporters wouldn't care. It's not him...it's the idea of "none of the above" that they support. Trump just happens to the recipient of that sentiment.

Sanders is a recipient of that exact same sentiment on the other side.

What both Trump and Sanders supporters have in common is that they both see tens of trillions of dollars being systematically extracted from America by corps, big banks, Wall Street with a complicit government and they want it to stop. The difference is what they want to do with that money.

Oh I agree the banking system and the extraction of American good paying jobs has people upset. However are we ready for an "Elect Hitler" kind of turn of events? Remember the "Bankers" of Germany were the Jews. We are pointing fingers at Muslims in the same light in my opinion.

NAFTA and now the TPP so the worst for the American worker is more then likely not here yet.

    Just a thought.

I'd agree with Res is saying. Pretty much to a T actually.

I'll go one further as my wife and i discussed this morning, if Trump gets elected, I'm sure we'll find out about aliens and all kinds of crazy shit. Trump would hold a press conference with Bin Ladens corpse and some aliens

My wife said she's cancelling my vote out because she's supporting trump just because of the fuck it factor as we call it in my household. Sanders does have some fuck it factor, but he's rewarding the wrong people so.....we shouldn't reward slackers. So she's backing trump just to watch the show.

But the word 'boy', yes, I'm not sure what part of california youre from but I'm going to say you live very far urban areas. You shouldn't use that word if you don't understand the harshness it implies....specially in urban areas. If you used that word in Oakland in the wrong manner, you'd get shot

Sorry, which party did those? And you hate on republicans :roffl: just a thought

btw, sanders...you know the one bill he should have been against wall street on but wasn't that happened to take down the american economy :read2:

you see, you think a person that has 30 years in politics (and absolutely nothing else) doesn't have his masters :icon_confused: you should look in to that:read2::bong-2:

truth be told, trump is the only one of us that's free...it's why he scares republicans the way he does, because he can afford to spoil it for everyone.

then the reset button gets hit  and that's a great thing in my eyes :bong-2:

My brother...hehehe...you done bought the line!:bong-2: Nip...I'd slap your hand too. Albeit for a different concept. :bong-2:

    Rant time.:passsit:

It's not good paying jobs that are being extracted. It's the actual income produced by those jobs. We got jobs. We can get jobs. It's the bank fees being charged to accounts of people holding those jobs. It's the loan interest being charged on ridiculous amounts of credit. It's the low reserve funding required of huge banks. It's an endless stream of government induced costs for licensing, education requirements, overlapping oversight, business fees, filing fees, filing requirements,.....And....the costs of hiring people to deal with all those government induced costs that drives smaller businesses out of business and keeps new businesses from flourishing.

This system has been promulgated by both Dems and Repubs to bleed our economy to their benefit and the benefit of those who underwrite their campaigns. Both are equally to blame.

Fuck job loss. That's like looking at a sick plant and seeing the leaves are falling off and then trying to glue them back on. We got a root zone problem that needs to be treated. Fix the roots, and the plant will flourish naturally.

And Nip, it ain't folks trying to sit on their asses all day. Yeah, a lot of folks bleed the system. I see it everyday and it pisses the fuck outta me. Had a lady last month with 5 legit aliases. Collecting benefits and Obama phones on every one of them. For some folks that's how they live. It shouldn't be that way.

But when I compare that to how much we (our government)gives in corporate welfare to Con Agra, Monsanto, Cargill, ADM, Boeing, et al and investment bank bailouts... Well, social welfare pales in comparison. And I guarantee that if the lady I met last month gets caught....she either pays up or goes to jail. Who was the last bankster who went to jail? Answer, none of them.

We aren't the economy of the 50's 60's or 70's. We are no longer a manufacturer based nation. We are a nation of intellectual property and the people who use, or serve, that property. That's it. You're either a waiter or an engineer pretty much. The middle is fading away.

I'd ask you to view this.

Then rants of..."the top 1% don't have enough wealth to pay for all the debt in a year. That's right, they don't. Growth, real growth, comes when you spread the wealth so those on the bottom can actually participate on a long term basis. Taxation, social welfare, lessening cost barriers to small business are the only long term tools we have.

Pretending laissez-faire capitalism is the ideal solution is as ludicrous as saying Marxist socialism works. I'm a great believer in Ludwig Mises and even I realize both systems have inherent flaws. How we blend the two is our only escape from a top tier of owners of intellectual property and a bottom tier who serves them at an ever increasing disparity of income.

Here's a query, Give a guy making 15K a year a dollar. What's he going to do with it? Spend it right? If he spends it locally at a grocer or hardware store the velocity of that dollar increases as long as it changes hands and is moving throughout the community.

Give a very wealthy man a buck and he's likely to save it as not. He's prudent. Works hard. Knows how to save. Has enough extra that he can save. That's a good thing. But the instant his dollar is banked it's velocity slows and is diminished. Not only is it's velocity slowed, it's value is diminished. That diminished value needs to be replaced, but with increasing concentration of wealth comes a more speculative method of replacing value, or, adding value.

In a manufacturing based economy with a healthy lower/middle income this is easy. You spend that dollar building more shit for people to buy. Because they have money they can buy that shit. The velocity of money increases. This was the secret to Henry Ford's phenomenal success and the success of the mid 20th century in America. But we're not that economy anymore. So, it's speculative investments that are the only real tool left to replace the lost value of a slowing economy for a wealthy investor.

We all should be aware by now of how speculative bubbles go. They go bad. They go really bad, and those on the bottom always come out worse than those on top.

What's needed is to increase the velocity of money in our economy. The only short term tools we have are taxation and social welfare while limiting the distribution to the top of the scale. So take your pick. Either blend socialism and capitalism while keeping a balanced distribution, or, fall the to limitations of purism in either.

Anyway, that be my stoned ramble of the month.

Here's a final thought on how serious the distribution gap is and pretty much tells how urgent the need is for some type of redistributive effort.

That thought alone should give one pause.

End generational wealth, that's the wealth I dislike...old money.

But I'll never hate on someone for being successful, I look up to that.

What I loathe is the generation of gimme...gimme safe zone....gimme free healthcare....gimme free schooling....gimme free money while I'm in school....gimme this gimme that, but don't hurt my feelings.

Sorry, I'll give full reply response watching walking dead and theirs a fucking grow room, totally me

I'll be catching TWD later. Growroom you say? Z Nation did that last season I think. Z-weed grown in zombie based compost.

I know I know...and As Dworkin says..."all sex is rape.." Yup, fringies everywhere, but we can't get distracted by them while we're being bled dry by the ones who look sane on the outside.

Ya know, both Nixon and Carter proposed a minimum living wage. It's wasn't such a far off idea at one time. Only since we've begun a headlong run into the corporatist era did it become a bad idea. Wonder why that is? Could it be that it bleeds the wrong people?

so every member here is full of shit according to sanders if they said they were poor, grew up in a shitty hood, or been hassled by the cops. Come to think about it, being 15 and having my nose broken on a cruiser wasn't the deputy's fault, I'm white, i must have stumbled into it since i was handcuffed...or was I even handcuffed, must have been new bracelets or something they give outstanding white youth in this country.

Sanders is a joke, a pathetic human being that is a taker. He is no different than Manson, it amazes me the cult like following he has and not one will read what he's about...just listens to his modern speeches or says in 1960 as a student....yea yea...go ahead and place shackles on your own wrists if you want vote for him...I'll still live free until my last breath

and for shits and giggles...his healthcare, why doesn't anyone bring up vermonts attempt
