Hows it going guys?? I have a few questions about lowrdyer strains. First of all, im not exactly a begginer at growing. I have been successfully growing MJ plants for years. But recently, I have been getting interested in lowryder plants, since the start/finish time is extremely short,and theres no need to change the light cycle.ie 18/6 to 12/12 The nutes im using are - jumpstart,iguana juice grow,big bud formula and sweet leaf enhancer. I have 12 lowryder2's growing. I plan on getting more strains (bluberry kush,hindu kush,lemon skunk, etc).anyways, my question is. How much do you think I should dilute the big bud formula? I have been using all nutes except big bud, due to the stage of the growth, with great results.I have always used big bud formula with no complications. But, I have heard that lowryder's arent able to take in high amounts of nutes. big bud has high p and k (0-15-40). Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated. thx
If you grow already, why you going to auto strains. There low potency and you have no control. You just have to wait and see.
Im switching to autoflowering strains because I figure if I plant 10 pre feminised seeds every week, I will have about 2-5 ounces every week when the buds start rollin in... understand ?? I think its actually a great idea, due to the fact of no light cycle change. Yeah, the potency might not be as good as alot of strains, but it will be worth it when Im getting a few ounces to smoke every week. The reason for this plan is because I smoke like a chimney. And I spend lots of money on buds. Also, when growing really good buds, most of them take at LEAST 2 1/2 months from start to clipping time, some take up to 3-4 months to finish. With autoflowering strains, I will be able to smoke my crop at exactly 2 months - cut,dry,cure.
nah... Its indoor. I gave up on outdoor. The elements are hard to keep up with in the desert, expecially when I have 2 jobs.
You could get more with a good potent strain with a short flower period and just clone like a mofo. Do a 0 veg cloning route, staggered sog. With strong lights you could get 1/4z dry of some strong shit from 1 single 0 veg clone. You do your 10 clones a week from 2-3 mother plants and you got 2-3z a week with only a lag of 45-60 days rather than waiting for a plant to mature enough to flower.
If you're indoor why not just clone and manipulate lighting schedule. You can get near to the same timing with a quick flowering indica strain and pack several times the "punch" as a ruderalis. Just my two cents.....but I don't see how you figure it. cheers, edited: ITCC....that's exactly what I was thinking. Is it Mr GJ or HHHG or HJ that does the mini no veg clones with amazing success?
