I run multiple lights all 1000 amps in a large room so in order to do this I must run more than one timer due to amps per light.

I can run (5) 1000w lights per circuit in a room with 24 so as you can see we needed to find a solution to a need for multiple timers all in unison.

    Here was our solution:

We took a small breakerbox (Two break style Home depot $35.00) put a intermatic manual timer from Lowes ($45.00). (Make sure that it is a 240v timer... number T104) connect it on top of breakerbox and we bring in the service wire (10-3) to the timer. Put them in at points 1 and 3 on the timer.

take the wire from the wired outlets (dual 240 recepticals)(www.growwurks.com) and bring them to the breakers within the panel.

Take 10-3 wire from the panel main lugs to points 2 and 4 on the timer and the ground in the breakerbox main lug to the ground provided on the timer.

This makes a perfect 240 timer for under $100.00. I run two breakers per timer 5 lights per breaker all made with 10-3 wire in order to run all my lights and all are set at same time to come on.

10-3 wire is the best for fire pertection as it allows for 30 amps. 8-3 wire is to large for the timer and the recepticals.

Here are a few pics of the timers I hope this helps.
