We have been here for a minute or two and don't have all the answers We do; however always have questions. This one is simple but it does puzzle me. We know this the Smokers lounge and all bets are pretty much off in here, our question is, with a beginner section, an advanced section, a hydro section, and so forth, WHY do we continue to start grow logs, ask nute questions and shit, in the smokers lounge. Or perhaps our question should be, why are these posts allowed to stay here ? :BangHead:
Well, I only see one grow question and one grow log on the first page of the Beginners Lounge, and none on the second (I stopped there). The reason I haven't moved them yet is because I use the quick links to view threads and don't normally go into individual areas. So yah, pretty simple question actually. :bong-2:
I think some ppl put stuff in the smokers lounge on purpose since it is off limits to non members and casual browsers. Stuff posted in public can be hit by google searches by specific key words but since the lounge isn't public you would have to come here register then scour the info. Which isn't hard but better some resistance than nothing...Steelcity
I think steelcity hit the nail on the head. That's what I did, and for those reasons. You can get google hits from the stuff that not in the community part of the site, but posts that are in comm, are blocked from searches. I really don't like posting pict much cause of security issues, but just chopped and moved to new location so now not as 'noid, but still security is always on my mind. Something is always better than nothing in that department. BTW, like the new log forum, spec that it's in the comm section. Not like LEO cant just join, but still stops the google pings
