ok. 1000w MH for ~18 days, then switched to enhanced HPS (150,000 L). 3x3x6.5 space. 424 CFM fan 2gal hempy The tallest is 15.63" tall, it goes down from there. I started flowering them last night. They got their first 12.5 hours of dark last night. I did have 4 Rx sprouts with them, but had to remove them and put them in a veg spot for now, until I get 4+ clones off each one.
You should have LSTed those girls. Single main cola seems pointless unless you are running a SOG. Also look like they need to be fed a little, starting to see some yellow in some of the lower leaves and the tallest two have a bit of Mg/Ca def.
Yeah, I've fed them, I noticed that as well a few days ago. The media is kinda saturated at the moment. I originally was 5-going to LST, but whatever, it's fine. I can still tie over the top with a twisty tie. As soon as the pots aren't so heavy, I'm going to feed them again. my input pH is 5.65-5.8, runoff at 6.1-6.4. I use Metanaturals Calcium with my bontanicare grow, at 650-900 ppm.
I might use a Zip tie on the tops then use string on the branches to pull them down and out. I am however going to LST my Rx clones, I already have the holes drilled in the buckets =). I've also been trimming the lower branches for clones. Now that they are started into flowering, for the next 7 days i'll take off any low branches that seem like they're not going to produce well. Dont start training them now. It will not acheive anything! As i said in the pm, with a light like that you should have vegged for at least 2 more weeks and your yield would have been MUCH bigger! Atleast you know for next time
thx skuzzi, I just have to save room for my Rx mother(s) and clones that are going back in and I have to have the bud harvested, dried, and cured by June 1. Next time around, I'm using smaller hempy buckets and packing as many in there as I can and doing SOG with Ak-48 and Rx.
Hey Wiz: When you feed next...Try a whole cup of worm castings per-gal of H2O "heavaly shaken" for 10 min to activate the organisms within the poop. You will be surprised at the fullness it will give to the overall plant, and being organic,it will not burn your plant even if it's poured directly on the plants when feeding, unless needing to raise or deplete your Ph., I have found this to be the best supplement at any stage of your plants life except the last two weeks prior to harvest. Hrm, I MIGHT try that. Those pics are a lil old, all the new leaves on the plants are lush green and looking great. I'd like to hear other input on the idea of the worm castings. I am using hempy ya know. I do however have bag(s) of bat guano, worm castings, humus, homemade compost, sea kelp, crab meal, shrimp meal, bone meal and blood meal. I use alot of that stuff in my soil grows for my 100% legal garden. =)
