yeah... i was drunk on the beach and that branch almost fell on my head. good times! final update for that last round... twista chopped at week 6.5 because I thought I saw it starting to hermaphrodite... if i was just growing for myself i'd have left it but I couldn't risk my patient's crop. it made decent (very good for premature bud) medicine with a much stronger couchlock that I was expecting based on the time of harvest. the white gold looks a lot like white widow with redder hairs, and smells almost the same. i've grown some Widow before (and am getting a clone soon), but didn't think it was very effective for my migraines. I got a decent harvest that should get me most of the way to my next harvest, and it's more effective medicine than a lot of the other stuff. I chopped these at 7.5 weeks after a 1.5 week flush. I didn't weigh the final harvest but it was about a QP. Exciting time... I FINALLY got some acceptable results out of this growing endeavor (a year and change after I started), and am on the way to producing my own supply of high quality meds. pictures soon to come... I have to remember to bring a camera to my house one of these days. i've been using a CRAPPY cellphone for pictures for ever and a day.
Great looking plants Sir! Looks like you had a nice harvest this round. I'm glad you were able to get enough to hold you over. It suck running out. Thats for sure! Keep up the good work and thanks for posting the :cool-pix:
most of the 4 weeks in look like this one this is an up close of a 5.5 week top theres a problem with my girls... i haven't had time to diagnose yet. think it has to do with Ph... gonna flush next watering everything crammed under my 600w HPS 3/4 of last harvest!
the plant problem was diagnosed as a phosphorous deficiency. i'm learning, i'm learning... I'd been routinely underfeeding my plants to try and be careful about burning them. now I know! one of the plants (a twista108) hermed on me. I found 2 separate immature ballsack sets. chopped at 6 weeks into flowering for what's looking like between 7-10g. that's the second one of that strain to do that when no others did, so i'm thinking it's genetic. bummer! weeks 6 and 4 in the flowering room, and the 3 moms I have ready in the veg chamber are ready and waiting for the Po-Po to give me back my 1000w HPS. if any more of the twistas hermy I'm cutting the mom instead of flowering it though. that would suck. pics will come after I finish midterms.
That sucks about the herm genetics Stynk. How'd "po po" that encounter ever turn out? Sounds like your getting your gear back? Crossing my fingers for ya man. cheers
well, they ignored all of my and my lawyer's calls for 4 1/2 months, so thursday if they haven't gotten back to him or me he's going down to the station to ask. just heard back from the lawyer. basically they said i'm still being investigated and they don't have any sort of time limit on when they have to file a hearing to get me my confiscated stuff back. the lawyer said that's not true, and he's going to ask the city prosecutor about me on thursday.
Keep on them Stynk. Even if it's just a moral victory. Make the County Attorney jump through every flippin hoop. When it comes to procedure LEO is the first one to ask for a break but are the last to cut one. good luck,
unfortunately I didn't have a chance to take pics before the early harvest. one of the plants caught a disease and there isn't sufficient air exchange in the room... i didn't want everything to get sick so I chopped it all around week 6.5-7.5 of flowering. final harvest was about 6 ounces out of a 600w HPS... i need to get this reflector on a mover to maximize its potential. it casts light directly down... best for only a couple plants. gotta increase the spread. I'm also buying another 600w HPS and a CO2 tank (already have the regulator). next run should be much, much higher quality ganja. it's going to be just 1 plant (Skywalker) covering about a 4x4 space. when the second light and/or mover comes in, I'm adding a second single White Gold plant to cover another 4x4. Both are in 20g DWC units.
