Been collecting some online grow photos. Does grow in this photo look typical or does it have serious issues (lighting, etc.)? Are plants supposed to grow tall/thin like this and with hardly any branches? (Maybe they are sativa? I don't know.) Look really skimpy. The lighting does look sorta ghetto. The branches? Apparently they choose to trim the side branches, for whatever reason. The plants do look good.
They have been grow like that on purpose. It like an extra tall sea of green. No idea why you would do that, but that's what they have done lol.
Iv seen a few guys back home do this shit to their plants.They cut everything of below a certain point to try produce donkey dick colas.I don't like to fuck with my plants too much,some light LSTing and that's me lol. They coulda also been vegged under floros longer than recommended,many reasons. Iv seen me and a mate grow same strain yet look totally different due to using different lighting,feeding schedules and even nutes.:jj:
nothing wrong with growing like that, but if you go that SOG route, ya need to pack in a lot more plants
Takes more energy to get nutrients/water to the buds and stresses the plant out because stem is so long? (I'm an amateur and would not take this route at this point.)
