Been awhile. But, I'm back. Need some strain & outdoor advice.

It has been awhile. I'm back though. Had different living situations and some life situations that led me into a place where growing had no place for me.


I'm back and ready to start off this year doing it right. I'm still not going to be able to do it all indoor like I'd like to with all my nice gear.


SOO, What I'm looking for here guys, is a strain that I can start out indoor for now, and will move outdoor around March when night temps are ~45+ and day temps 65+. Basically they will flower outdoor. I've done this before, but it was with a cross I bred myself. AK-48 x Rx(romulan x Fuckin Incredible) with decent results.


I'd like to do a strain somewhere in the 50/50 indica/sativa neighborhood. High CBD content. Not going to be TO picky for right now. I'd also like to do one round of Feminized, and am open to any suggestions, and have no real specifics. I'd love to hear your experience with the end product of any that you've personally grown and tried.


I also have a specific key question. Pots or dig holes?


The ones I did years ago were in pots of a FoxFarms mix.


Should I just dig out some large holes (more depth than width right?) and fill those with my soil mix? Or use large grow pots?? Thanks guys.

Also, 45 at night? Sounds too cold to me.

 

ive done around 5 years of outdoors, I always dug 2 trenchs(rows), however long you need them....I planted on the pile of soil that was virgin dirt and mixed with FF/OF bag mix and used the trenchs to gather whatever water they could naturally and let it weep down the hill to the plants bases, I fed after the 2nd month and fed every 2 weeks after that, I was keeping it secret or I would have fed more often.
