thanks for the props code green. :icon_thumleft: This is the best "looking" honey oil that I have obtained to date so i am a bit excited. I would say that I used about 3/4 of an ounce of bud but that's just eyeballing it as i have no scales. which also means i have no idea of the yield, but you pretty much see what i got. minus just a bit more that i managed to scrape out of the corners. I had some trimmings, but decided against running those. seeing as how the mrs is pregnant this should last a while...... thanks again.
Last a while? Doesn't look like much at all, does this oil go a long way or something, seems like to use 3/4 of an ounce of bud to come up with a few drop of oil it had better be alien crack or something.
what's there will last quite a while chop. i guess it is alien crack. it doesn't take much added to a blunt or a bowl to make a big difference. very potent. what you see there is basically all of the thc from 3/4 of an ounce. minus all of the plant matter. i love it...
Excellent way of putting it , wawona! Honey oil rules! I like to put a few drops on a piece of foil and hold it over a candle and use a pen tube to inhale the vapors. Man, does it do a number on ya! :icon_bounce: Nice stash!
ooh!! ooh!!! i am gonna try that tonight. thanks joker........ this is the "hardest" oil that I have managed to date. the other runs i have done were a bit more "soupy". This is much easier to handle. also the best color i have ever obtained. i feel sure that it has to do with using only bud.
Wawona, Dedicate the first hit to me, and I will consider us even ! BTW, the technique of holding the foil over the candle takes a little getting used to...I held the folded up foil (2 or 4 layers to slow down the heat) high above the flame and lower it slowly until I see the white, wispy streams of vapor coming off of the surface. That's your sweet spot. Hold it there, or even lower it slightly more, and pull as much through that pen tube as you can. Then the hard part....trying to hold it in. At first it's like the Tazmanian Devil is ripping his way out of you through your lungs, but you will get used to it quickly. Then BAM headrush time! :icon_bounce: Hot knives have got nothing on this technique for smoking honey oil. If you over heat it, or heat it too quickly you will burn most of it up, and you will not get high. Be patient, and only use a very small amount at first, and heat it slowly, is my suggestion when you do it. You are gonna fuckin love it! :icon_cheers: J.

making hash is.......... ........definately not something i'd be doing if i were low on bud. which i am far from. It sure makes a nice lil bonus at the end of a long day though. makes that old head spin....... :new_smileyb: BHO is like a pot smoker's luxury item to me, but it's not something everyone has or even wants.
I just cant have it lol.........nothing would ever get done around here! I enjoyed the experience, so I sure don't begrudge it to anyone else...It's just too hard for me to put down lol.
BHO is the best smoke out there. I made a nice batch yesterday and man am i feelin great. By the way Wawona, in your post on making it you said not to use PVC, but that's what i've always used and my oil always taste phenomenal, every time. so potent i always think i might
the pvc can break down over time using the butane. It may never be anything you notice, but i feel like that the chemicals in the PVC would be unhealthy if the PVC ever started to break down an wind up in the honey oil.
Is the BHO on the razors all you got out of 3 quarters, or is there more that you didn't show in the pic?
i always clean my pipe once the moisture of the butane on the outside has evaporated. and i've used the same pipe ten times over a 2 month period. after that though i would replace it.
that's some sweet honey oil Wa! But from 3/4 oz of bud you might want to do another run. I'll bet you there's alot more oil in those buds to be had. I remember you mentioning in a previous thread that you use the little cans of butane. I use 2-3 big cans and get ALOT more oil. The quality is still very high, nice clear red oil. Just a suggestion though, it looks like you know what you're doing. Enjoy!
wooowweeee Ya'll ever smoke just straight hash? Oh dude this shit feels like im noddin and i just did a line of some junk , just ash in my bowl with the cigarette a few times throw a fat rock of hash and put some keif on top and i'm STUCK ON STUPID for like 45seconds with my eyes cclosed teeth grittin and everything.. thats was with 18 oz of butane run through it. 3, 6 oz cans. I don't know exactly how much bud was there. it LOOKED like ABOUT 3/4 of an OZ. I never knew how much i was supposed to expect as far as yield goes, but I have learned that a little goes a long way.
