I've used both brands in isolation and in conjunction with one another. Bio Bizz definately makes for a tastier, healthier product. MetaNaturals has the potential to provide more nutrients per application; making it last longer. I also noticed that MetaNaturals had a greater potential to burn the plants if given in heavy doses. The Bio Bizz I've used goes quickly, and the strains I've grown with it love the stuff. They seem to absorb the tea faster when the main ingredients are from Bio Bizz. The leaves have more of a sheen to them, and the buds smell and taste better. Bio Bizz is in my opinion a superior product, but much more expensive. I use the Bio Bizz Algamic with the grow and bloom formulas. I do not need to flush with this product at the onset of flowering; just make the changes after the 2nd week of 12/12. Your question was which organic fertilizer works best for an all organic grow, and for what I'm doing: Bio Bizz is better on all accounts. It's just more expensive.
Thanks for your input Indi,Now i look foward to trying Bio- bizz for my next grow, besides what is the NPK ratio on the Bio bizz ferts?
Indi, what did you think about the Top Max stimulator from Bio-bizz?And is it better than other Bloom stimulators?
I haven't used the Top Max HELL BOY 420. I found this write up about it: QUOTE TopMax from Bio-Bizz is a 100% vegetable flowering stimulator encourages an explosive flower production and therefore large, compact heads. In addition, this flowering stimulator increases the sugar content in the heads. This gives a smooth, sweet taste to the end pro-duct. This product can be used with hydroponic system's as well as soil and coco base growing media. --http://www.growroomsuk.com/Topmax-flower-stimulator-bio-bizz.html **EDIT** I used to have a brochure that listed all the Bio Bizz products and their contents, NPK, etc but I gave it away over a year ago. I don't have specific information on all the products. The Bio Grow I use is 2-0.1-7 and the Bloom is 1.1-2.5-2.0. (Edited by llIndigoll at 10:44 am on Feb. 19, 2005)
Ive seen these Bio Bizz products at my near by hydroponic store and look foward to using them soon. But Indi can you mix Bio products with Metanaturals?Have you tried it?
Yes, you can absolutely use them together. Be mindful of dosage. **EDIT** I found the Meta/BioBizz combo to work better in flower rather than in veg. (Edited by llIndigoll at 1:15 pm on Feb. 19, 2005)
The amounts vary from strain to strain, and depend on the stage of growth in each plant. I have different teas for seedlings, newly rooted clones, transplants, HPS vegging, stasis growth, donor plant prep, first two weeks of flowering, mid flower, late flower. What stage do you want to know about?
I would like to know about HPS vegging, stasis growth, first two weeks of flowering, mid flower and late flowering. And the strains that i have are bubblegum, citral, african durban X skunk #1.
The following is a moderate-heavy fertilizer schedule mixing MetaNaturals products and Bio Bizz. Different strains need different amounts of NPK and micros. Adjust as the leaves demand. I used liquid pH up (with lime) and liquid pH down (0-9-0). HPS vegging **Every other watering at pH 6.2-6.5** * MetaNaturals Nitrogen (16-0-0) ~ 1/4 tsp per gallon * MetaNaturals Plant Nutrient (3-3-3) ~ 1 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Bio-Grow (2-0.1-7) ~ 4 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Alg-a-mic ~ 4 tsp per gallon **Pure waterings pH 5.5-6.0** Stasis growth **Usually coupled with smaller pot sizes** **Every second or third watering at pH 6.2-6.5** * MetaNaturals Plant Nutrient (3-3-3) ~ 1/4 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Bio-Grow (2-0.1-7) ~ 3 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Alg-a-mic ~ 3 tsp per gallon **Pure waterings pH 5.5-6.0** First 2 weeks flower **Every other watering at pH 6.8-7.3** * MetaNaturals Nitrogen (16-0-0) ~ 1/2 tsp per gallon * MetaNaturals Plant Nutrient (3-3-3) ~ 1 tsp per gallon * MetaNaturals Bloom (1-5-5) ~ 1/4 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Bio-Grow (2-0.1-7) ~ 4 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Alg-a-mic ~ 4 tsp per gallon **Pure waterings pH 6.8-7.3** Mid flower **Every other watering at pH 7.0-7.3** * MetaNaturals Bloom (1-5-5) ~ 1/2 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Bloom (1.1-2.5-2.0) ~ 4 Tbsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Alg-a-mic ~ 4 Tbsp per gallon **Pure waterings pH 6.5-7.0** **If signs of lock out flush with pure water at pH 5.5 then continue** Late flowering **Every other watering at pH 7.0-7.3** * MetaNaturals Bloom (1-5-5) ~ 1 tsp per gallon * Bio Bizz Bloom (1.1-2.5-2.0) ~ 4 Tbsp per gallon **Pure waterings pH 6.5-7.0** MetaNaturals and Bio Bizz produced the following:
Thanks for the formula Indi,You had a great outcome with that formula and i will be trying it soon and hope to have the same expectasions.Fat ass buds and trichomes by the way.
So far Bio grow is working magnificient but instead of adding Meta grow in conjunction with biogrow i add Mexican bat guano along with biogrow for vegging growth and works great.Im going to try LK along with Bio Bizz products to see the outcome,it should work like the Top max stimulator from Biobizz but i want to know which is better to use during flowering stages and will it function as a good stimulator? Can any one help me?INDI?
QUOTE Quote: from llIndigoll on 3:40 pm on Feb. 20, 2005 MetaNaturals and Bio Bizz produced the following: If I didnt know better I would say it was a grower that knows what their doing with good genetics, with MN and BB being a small factor in that. The avg newbie cant expect the same results with just those ferts alone.
kindkid, This shows why a higher pH during flower helps: http://forum.growkind.com/forum/topic.php?forum=4;topic=102 Lamont Pontoon, Obviously. HELL BOY, The pH down I use is made by Aurora and is 0-9-0, and the pH up is Lime-up with Calcium. They are the best I've found for use with my organics.
I already ran out of the Metas and my hydroponic store does not carry it due to the fact that it is not yet been certified and is out of the market for know.Currently i am using Pure Blend Pro for soil(1.4-5-4)can i use this in conjunction with Bio Bizz and have good fruit and flowers?
