I've got some blood and bone meal for the first time and getting ready to start another grow. Was about to add it to my soil mix and then had a thought. Since the blood is high in N and the bone is high in P do I want to add both to my soil right from the start? I was thinking I should just add the Blood Meal now and when I transplant later down the road add the Bone meal. This is up in the air too because from what I understand it takes some time for both to actually breakdown in the soil and become usable to the plant. Anyone that uses both or either of these can you let me know how you do it? Also how much of either to add to a soil mix?
