hello gk,i am considering switching my nutes to see if i get better results,not getting bad results now,just looking for bigger,better buds.i use gh flora 3 part and the fox farm solubles.i'm thinking of switching to botanicare.i guess i'm just looking for some feedback to see if it's worth it or if there is something even better out there.any suggestions? growing in hempy buckets and dwc btw
Well I can give facts on this one. I used to use the GH 3 part. Now I use Botanicare and I would never change again. Bigger buds for sure, and less work when you mix them up. Go for it. I promise you wont use GH ever again.
thanks guys. neon,are you using the pure blend or the pure blend pro? also, anyone using sweet, how much of this stuff do you guys go through? it sure seems awful expensive to me.
I use the Pure Blend Pro. Also Sweet and Cal Mag Plus. The sweet is a bit pricey, but worth it IMO. I put a lot of time and effort into my garden. Not to mention the hard work. So to me price is not an issue when it comes to my ladies. I go through one bottle of Sweet for every 2-3 bottles of grow and bloom. You don't have to give the Sweet every feeding. I do, but I don't think it is a must. Use it every other and you will strech it twice as far. Good luck and good choice.
yeah,i just saw your sig,it says what you use,i missed it.on the sweet,that's why i was asking,it seemed from the dosage recommendations that it doesn't last long,but i've seen what it can do too.
I switched- I swiched from DNF nutes to Botonicare, and holy shit what a difference. I use Pure Blend Pro, Sweet for citrus, Cal-Mag (which is a must if you are using R.O. water), and Liquid Karma. Don't be afraid to spend the money to have an exceptional crop!!!! I use all supplements every nutrient change. I use Pure Blend Pro Bloom for Soil at about week 5, not sure if it is completely necessary, but it does lean off of the N a bit and increases P. Just what their sourcebook says. Take a look at Botanicare's '08 urban garden sourcebook. It has feeding schedules in the back. Also has all their products and benefits. I use Grow and Bloom at about half the recommended strength and still get a tad of nute burn. All supplements I use at recommended strength. Results are tremendous. Root growth takes off, and plants grow and bloom at incredible rates. I stand behind their products 100%. Forgot to add that I am in DWC buckets right now as well.
