CO2 tank ~ Siphon Valve question

    I just picked up a co2 tank, but I accidentally got a tank with a siphon valve in it. in other words, the tank dispenses CO2 in liquid instead of gas form.

    Will this destroy my regulator? I just have a bottom-line plain old reg with an electric on-off switch.

    You need gas, not liquid CO2. Liquid will freeze the solenoid in the regulator and destroy it.


    You need to drain the tank, change the tank valve out and refill it.
