Notice, they never actually charge these people they raid with crimes either.

They just rob them at gunpoint of their product and their data, and then roll on down the road.

    Buncha fucking thugs. :fingermad:

They need to be selective when charging people Joe. Raids are usually just an attempt to interfer with the business and drive them under due to the economic distress. Since the laws being broken are Federal laws if they charge the wrong guy with deep pockets and an axe to grind the whole ball of wax could end up appealed to the Circuit Court and then the Supreme Court as a States Rights issue, which the Feds stand a good chance of losing. Since most of these raids are in Ca. and now Co. your dealing with the 9nth Circuit which is EXTREMELY liberal and would most likely roll in favor and the 10th Circuit Court which is in Denver and could be sympathetic to a case based on Colorado state law.

It's going to end up there eventually anyway but the DEA has no desire to hurry it along.

Yeah...Obama lied again.....big surprise. He gave lip service to MMJ proponents when he needed votes but since we aren't big $$ lobbyists we mean nothing to his administration now. Why do you guys keep expecting anything different? That's like expecting GW to properly parse a sentence or Slick Wllie to not chase a skirt. It's who and what the guy is.

    cheers,

Great post ResinRubber . . . You make a great point concerning the 9th and 10th Circuit Courts being an inevitable outcome. Sadly the voting public is once again silenced by the ever policing government. Fucking rat bastards!

My cold dead hands . . . my fucking cold dead hands! I swear!

    Wtf

I think we need to look deeper than the government, maybe the fat ass pharmaceutical lobbyists are puttin the pressure on, after all how much money will they lose when mmj is accepted on a wider front. How better to get rid of the local distribution so they have a wide open door to step through after all the hard work has been done by people like us to get it legalized for those in need not to mention the money they save with the research that is and probably will be again, stolen by the DEA. The government is nothing but a puppet for corporate America to play with. They didn't have the balls to push for the laws but they're ready to profit from them I guarentee. This isn't a capitalist country it's a greedist country. Just look at Jersey's law, mmj available only at your local price gouging pharmacy, that state will be the blueprint for these companies to take over the rest of this young industry.

Sorry for the rant but I'm moving to a mmj friendly state in the near future so I can treat my chronic pain without narcotics which don't go well with my Hepatitis infected liver. I don't want to hear this shit, no mmj, no fuckin peace for them if I can't have it too.

According to (norml) The Feds are claiming they are not there at that clinic to bust for marijuana but are charging them with alleged improprieties. the also claim the other dispensaries are not being bothered.

Great point Rollin Bonz! Makes a person think a little bit.

T6 - It was actually a lab where they test the weed. There wasn't anything for sale of growing or anything like that, I just think it was all "customers" product, and those customers names and info.

Glad I didn't have the Hashberry or the Millennium tasted like I wanted to. LOL

Here's the business card I got a few weeks back from this same business that got raided . . .

Pretty cool deal if you ask me . . .

I'm pretty sure you'd need proper medical documentation, but the lab isn't a caregiver or a patient so they shouldn't have $10,000 worth of pot?!?!?! Maybe thats the reasoning . . . and I use that term very loosely!

I know I was thinking of doing a test of my Hashberry, but I don't shit $100 bills right now, so I haven't. Glad I never did, not that I have ANYTHING to worry about. I am in compliance of all state and local laws.:ebert:

It makes me wanna say . . ."Fucking bastards!"

Glad you did not test either. If you did even tho your legal state wise those bastards would know who you are and you know you cant trust them. The feds exagerate everything they bust I would be real suspicious of the 10000 amount they claimed they seized. If they were testing good shit 300 bucks a ounce that would be about 33.3 oz I doubt they are figureing lt like that!
