Ok so the end of the grow is here. First GG4 S1 grow I have ever seen followed thru. So i started choping today and almost forgot to get pics so i got a couple of everything in here pic wise. Not a huge producer but the buds are dense and med sized. Nice desil dank smell, almost all the plants produced close too same pheno type buds but two plants were 25% snaller than the rest. The pics are not pretty, I put these plants thru alot on this first run.
Yeah I could of prob let them go longer in flower. The leaves even before flush were all falling off I wasnt sure if the buds would start turning brown. I got to go back and look how long they were in flower. I got some clones and a cut of GG4 from clone only that I still got to play with. I never really ran long strains before. Kinda a test run on a new strain for me. Not the best grow log but I followed thru and didnt kill them. Lol
Funny you should mention leaves falling off. I had that problem too in mid flower. About a dozen leaves a day, down belong the scrog net. While they were in a shaded area under there and weren't getting a lot of light, they weren't supposed to be falling off. When this progressed to leaves above the net, I had to try something. They looked very hungry for nitrogen. One more ml/gallon of Micro did the trick, and no more leaves fell off.
Shit I forgot smoke report and cured bud pics. Give me a couple days. I gave my wife two bong hits for a test. And a hr later she had to be helped to bed. Then my niece couldnt get a hold of her black boy (gets the good shit cheep) so I say I can get her a 1/4 and first thing she said was "wow this is sticky" and the smell is something familar but cant put words to it"... I say do you want it? She said Hell yes!
Ok, some cured pics. I didnt do the best job trimming but this will give you an idea of how decent the GG4 s1 turned out. Finished product tast like Coffee mostly after dried. Def good smoke, its heavy but not major couch lock. Over all I would run these again but would bush out clones at 8"-12" for height reasons. They did well in high heat and never seeded,
