I have 2 girls in 20 gallon totes. This is my second run this style . The girls are about 4' tall 3' wide. Some of the leaves , seemingly towards the top are curling down and eagle clawing. Thierry 2 weeks into flower with buds starting. Other that that they look perfectly healthy.

Last run , although using the Lucas formula , I ran ppm near the useless formula benchmarks around 1100ppm. I figured I over fed so I haven't gone over 800ppm , and half way through the week just top it with plain water. So even less strong. They look alot better but I'm still getting this leaf structure.

    Ideas?

Sounds like you over fed. 20 gallons per plant? Sounds like overkill on the res size.

    To much nitrogen.

Is this a new strain to you? Some strains cant take as much N as most can.

Also how much air you got going to each tote?

In 3 days she drinks half the rez.

Yes it is a new strain for me.2 large airstones in each rez. Last run I only had one.

Do you check your ppms, if they drink half the water but only take up a quarter of the nutrients the ppms are going to go up.

Mine PPM levels are always higher as the water gets lower. Especially the more air you pump through the water the faster it evaporates away. Those are some pretty big girls but I doubt seriously that they a drinking that much or using all the nutes in that portion of water. You may think about lowering the amount of nutes at first to counter the water loss or top it off with clean sooner. Good Luck!!.

I just went back and read the first post and 800 really doesn't seem that high. Even with the water loss they shouldn't get ungodly high.

The ppm seems to stay even as they drink down.

If it's to much nitrogen , will the damaged/deformed leaf structure go back to normal or remain that way even after the problem is fixed? The larger plants ppm is reading 500 after top off . She is drinking what I stated .

Annunaki, the curling, or Clawing of the leaves is from to much N.

Those leaves will always look like that even after correcting the over feed issues. Otherwise they look great!

Thanks all! I'm gonna get new strains soon , but what would you all suggest I do for now? I have GH nutes in powder for Lucas formula. No 3 part so I can't adjust by that.
