Dayum! Nice chunk ya got there! :thumbs-up::thumbs-up: The Cotton Candy is def a tough driver. I've smoked it and then driven and had to pull over for a minute. The first time I was so tickled and happy about how strong it was, I started giggling and couldn't stop for several minutes. SItting on the side of the road, eyes crossed and streaming tears, just laughing away... Yeah it's great smoke.
smoke report on latest cropWell Just wanted to give an update and post what is prolly a beginners biggest mistake when it comes to seeds.....Way back BEFORE I had any clue as to what I was doing - I blindly ordered some seeds - purple power (for an out door grow) and carmelicious. Both from AMS. I did little to no research and basically got what I paid for.The Purple power didnt even make good hash and I recently completed a 3 plant grow of the Carmelicious - absolutely no flavor (carmel or otherwise) and a very generic high.When I compare this against other strains either I have popped or close friends have popped, it is clear I need to stick to breeders that know what they are doing and can show results. The other strains I am growing are from Fusion (via Sannis) and I have either popped them from seed or 'obtained' cuts from good friends. Basically - comparing the results from Fusion seeds against the other crap is like night and day.The carmelicious will go into the hash bucket and last night I dumped a zip into the double boiler and made a pound of butter. The next runGreetingsJust got done with some grow maintenance - cleaned all my filters, replaced my bug strips and spider traps and general tent cleanup.Also finalized my Flower tent - final count is 2 Female Blue Chocolate. I filled out the run with 4 JBKO. These girls are in their second week of flower. The BC are the two on the right.In the veg tent I just transplanted 6 lemon Thai cuts. They will stay under 24 hour MH till friday then they will go 18/6 for 3 weeks.Under the dome are some cuts taken from the Blue Chocolate, a Lemon Thai cut and a JBKO cut for new mom's.Finally did some mom trimming. week 4 updateGreetingsJust wanted to give quick update on my current grow....In the flower tent (4 weeks) I have 2 Blue Chocolate and 4 JBKO. The JBKO are an assortment/experiment - 2 with no veg time and 2 with 2 week veg time.All the girls are looking good.In the veg tent I have 6 Lemon Thai at 1.5 weeks. Just flipped the lights on my Lemon Thai after 3 weeks of veg time. Blue Chocolate week 9Well - My Fusion Blue Chocolate girls are in their ninth week.I have not seen bud growth like this on any other strain I have grown in the past year. The grils have been drinking 2 gallons of water every TWO days - just watered this morning!!!The buds are massive and dense. Most are 12 to 14 inches long and 3 to 4 inches in diameter. The friendly farmer stopped by yesterday and his knees literally buckled when I opened the tent.Many of the fat sticky buds have spires at the top - like a castle - one bud we looked at yesterday one of the spires grew 3 inches overnight - see the picture with the rulerThe triches are 80% cloudy, 20% clear - no amber yet. They have about two weeks left before you chop. I grew that strain out three times and she drinks a lot in the last weeks of flower. Give her the time needed and she will get harder and a tad bigger.
