earth juice bloom - does it go bad?

A couple of years ago I bought a big bottle of earth juice bloom and then only used a fraction of it. I looked for an expiration date on the bottle and didn't find one. So then I looked on the earth juice website and searched the web (including this site of course) and still didn't find anything on whethor or not it had any kind of shelf life.

I'd like to use it if it's still good, but it occured to me that perhaps it's too old? I don't know if it's possible that it could be harmful, but I'd like to be sure before using it!

    Anyone have any idea?

    Thanks!

maybe if I list the ingredients...

    No answer so far. :(

Maybe if I list the ingredients that would help?

bat guano, seabird guano, sea kelp, natural sulfate of potash, steamed bone meal, oat bran, rock phosphate.

    Thanks for any info.

    Don't use it!!

It's sooooooo funny you bring this up now! 3 weeks ago I bought some mother earth bloom and gave 1/4 teaspoon to start. Well my plants freaked out in a bad way! I paid 25 bucks for this stuff. Anyway looked for exp date and none? I than called the store and said a big piece of slime came out ! Is it suppose to do that? Never used before, he said no and bring back . Got pure blend pro. I flushed the plants but they never recovered. Soooooo yes it can go bad, I'd get new stuff.

    thanks

    thanks for your reply!

I didn't want to throw it out for no reason because it wasn't cheap, and when I used it 2 years ago it worked great. But yeah, if it can go bad and hurt my plants I'd rather spend a little money and get something new.

    thanks!

Ya I was really mad cause this was my first time growing so I really didn't know what was happening! My plants were doing awesome foot and a half at a month , really niceeeeeeeee! Than it was time to bloom, I went and bought it brand new at 25 bucks a bottle. Anyway it killed them all but one and that one I had to cut 3/4 of the leaves off so now it's mostly bud and small leaves, but it's still alive, lol. I went to pro blend and it worked great. I have started 6 new ones now 3 blueberry and 3 mix. I couldn't believe it could be bad but it was and all I kept thinking was boyssssss am I ever glad I did have 60 plants. I'm glad I could save you from what happened to me! Happy growing!!!!

RIGHTTTTTTTT and it didn't kill all my healthy plants!

The guy at the hydroshop looked at it and said " YAAA IT'S GONE BAD " and I guess all my plants dying after one use is just a figment of my imagination!!:rolleyes2: Maybe she can send it to use on your blooming bud!

did he offer to sell you something else as well?

    going bad doesn't make sense for a fert. At least to me;

Milk yes. A child running wild yes....

can you get more info on this "gone bad" state of the bloom stuff?
