I've searched and read plenty of bad things about Earth Juice. Anyone ever use the pH down. It claims to be all natural using a citric acid base. Been using it for two days now and strange things are happening. pH went from 5-8 overnight and now I am noticing some bubbles/foam on hydroton.

I'll go back to using the GH stuff if no one has anything great to say.

I'm not sure what you are doing but it sounds like strong chemical reactions.

With acid and base there will be a reaction. Look at baking soda and vinegar.

NO. I would never use vinegar or baking soda. Earth Juice is 100% organic, using a citric acid base - no "chemicals," only natural chemicals.

Just wanted to know if anyone lowers their res. with this stuff and what their results have been. (I'm switching back to GH pH down, but I would rather use the natural stuff) My ferts are all organic of course, which unfortunatly causes the pH fluctuations, but well worth it in the end.

If the "natural stuff" is creating bubbles and foam, and is also making the ph wildly fluctuate, you should re consider the importance of "all natural". I have only heard good things about the stuff, but I have not used it. I grow all organic, but does that mean I go out and use willow water or some crap to root in? No, I use cloning gell and a fungicide (soon to try bubbler). Just do what works.
