I'm on a well with no kind of filtration system. I know theres a bunch of D.S.'s, should I worry about getting a meter till I get a filter? I'm not sure exactly how that aspect of growing works.

A meter is always useful. More so if you are doing soilless medium like hempy or pure coco or hydroponics. You can still know what the ppm of your nutrients are by first measuring the TDS of your water prior to adding your nutrients. Just subtract the starting ppm from the total ppm after adding your nutes and you'll have the ppm read out of your nutrient concentration. :passsit:

I guess the only way to know whats makes up ppm's in the well water is to take a sample to the county and have 'em test it. And that info probly wouldn't do me much good. I would still need filtration of some sort. I'll get a meter in a couple weeks, I just got nutes and a replacent electrode for my ph pen.

    Thanks
