Well, i've been reading the forums here and taking all your knowledge, so i figured i may as well at least give you my story for your amusement. I was (until a few days ago) seeing my dad for my chronic migraines. I've taken several different pills and none of them have worked particularly well. Somewhere along the way i heard medical marijuana was used for migraines, and i tried it the next time i got one. It worked. Now I'm a patient guy, but I was (and am) frustrated to all hell that I finally found something that helped... and I couldnt get it. My dad is not a medical marijuana supporter, and with him as my doctor there was no way I could get legalized from him. Well, long story short I decided to take my medical records and quietly see a medical marijuana expert to get a slightly less biased opinion. I asked for them after my visit to his office (to change prescriptions because the pills i'd just changed to weren't working) and left a release. After hearing nothing for a few days I called his office where I was informed that he was refusing to release my records to me. Naturally I was a little confused... so I asked him about it that night. His exact words were "well... I guess you could sue me for them." I've since gotten a new primary care doctor (my last one was my pediatrician ROFL) who is taking over my migraines as well... But she also works at the same hospital as my dad. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get legalized. Smile everyone who is discouraged from getting licensed! At least your family doesn't hold your files :eusa_sick:
