Fem Seeds and Clones

    We are trying another run at fem seeds. The last batch, Alaskan Ice turned out pretty nice on the first go round - but the clones produced were an inferior product and by the third generation were pure shit :icon_scratch: .

    We are trying SUPER LEMON HAZE FEMINISED this time, We are on our first round of clones and they look promising but after the last go round we are a bit gun shy about fem seeds.

    Have any of you guys had "good" success with clones from fem seeds producing in the later generations ?

    not had a problem, most likley somthing else happened causing the later generations to loose potency not that it is being a clone

    I've never had an issue, using seeds from Flying Dutchman, Barney's Farm, and G13 Labs.

    OMG WHY? Total crap. Everyone at the HTCC said it was GARBAGE. It should not have won at all. LOL. Bought into the hype Tron? You reading High Times Mag again? :rofl:


    Since you're going to be starting with garbage, I wouldnt expect the clones to perform either.


    But, clones should be identical to the parent plant. Sounds more like you had issues in the veg/clone area causing degredation.

    We actually had ordered this strain before it won whatever award it did win,(Cannibus Cup ??) have not read an issue of High Times in quite some time. It is just what we decided to try. We are on our first round of CLONES so we have passed the (test smoke stage) and We surely wouldnt call what we produced as "Garbage." In fact it is far from it.


    Our concern is clones losing potency which you did elude to, any idea of the issues that could cause this ?

    Its always been my understanding clones are or can be more potent then the mother from seed. I think its something with they are more sexually mature when you flower them a second time making them more potent or something. But hey im on my first round of cloned fem's too from a few different breeders/seed sellers, so I cant say for sure with fem clones that was just my exp. with my last grow regular seeds Kush & WW(but I would imagine it would be the same).

    Lose of potency in clones has nothing to do with the fact that you cloned a femmed plant. A clone can only by a copy of the original plant. It must have been how you grow the clones or they got some sort of desease.
