Anyone have any Fox Farm organic fertilizers? It seems like most internet sites don't have the minor and micro-nutrients listed! I hate that! It says "this is a complete fertilizer".. it's like, dude, that's not for you to decide.. I'll decide if it's "complete" when I see the full analysis of the product! Anyone know the full analysis of Fox Farm's Grow Big (NOT hydroponic... SOIL!) fertilizer? Or another really good fertilizer for vegetative growth? Also, I'm considering Fox Farm's new Peace of Mind Tomato & Vegetable fertilizer (7-4-5 with ?some? Calcium.
BASICALLY DUDES, WHAT'S THE BEST VEGGY FERT?! (I realize I may ramble.) Peace.

    Ya know I don't know.

With an organic soil, it's best to have materials already broken down in the soil ready for the plant to use.

Many moons ago I read that MJ doesn't have special demands on soil nutes yet we all know high N aids growth when the environment is right.

I have made mixes myself using stocks of things like fish emulsion and liquid kelp.

I have also tried bloom products in my mixes.

Basically I'd like to see what others have to say as well..

I use a shellfish soil/compost mixture throughout my grow. I've been Metanaturals products for my last two grows, and I like what I've seen so far. I use their 16-0-0 Nitrogen fert for veg, and their 1-5-5 for Flowering.

Like I said, I've seen pretty good results so far under a 400 watt light. The 16-0-0 is the one I'd recommend.

  4. the fox farm soil formula isnt organic......edta should clue you in on that one

to get the correct amount of micro nutes using the fox farms i think you have to get all three products.. the grow big, big bloom , and tiger bloom ... the tiger bloom is the one that helps with the micro's ..but don't quote me on this.. I plan on using Fox Farms Products this next time to see how i like them over the Metanaturals products.. but i use the grow 3-3-3 and the bloom 1-5-5 formulas and don't use the 16-0-0 ...

and as stated before Fox Farms products arent' fully organic... the Meta's i use are and certified..

ALSO for those that use Fox Farm Tiger Bloom...

How do you counteract for the low pH? How often do you have to apply stuff to get the pH right again? peace

in 3 years, i have never had a ph problem in using any of the fox farm products. I use ocean forest soil, grow big for veg and tiger bloom plus big bloom for flower.

    That's it. Nothing else. ever.

I have used the metanaturals with very good success. The fox farm bottles are just bigger.

    that's always been my understanding.

    feedz

Hmm.. I've heard that Tiger Bloom lowers the pH of the soil; in fact it says on the container, "is formulated with a low pH". Thanks for clearing that up, though.

Do you go by the feeding schedule that Foxfarm has on their website also??

not saying that it won't affect your ph or hasn't affected other's ph just that I have never had a problem.

I have never gone by that schedule as I was just turned on to it a cupl months ago. over time I have just learned what/when to feed by watching the plants. you will too if you stick with it.

my growing is coming to an end here shortly so I plan on using the schedule for the last 2 grows so I can have a comparison.
