well atleast you used a high percent iso that shit should evaporate pretty quick, When i've done it i've never used alot of iso and could pour my shit onto a plate an set it on top of a boil of low boiling water to evaporate that shit even quicker.
adding kief will make it into "jelly" ..I dbl boil mine down untill its very thick then and then i store it in the freezer...sometimes ill wipe it on a paper so i can swab off what i need then smoke the paper when its all gone
You can just store it on a cool dark place, light and heat degrade THC. As far as chopping it just depends. If you are using like rock hard nuggets then yes. The more exposed open areas for the iso to come into contact with the better.
