I harvested the smaller two Ak-48 clones tonight. 85% cloudy, 15% amber. 2gal hempy. Botanicare nutes. When I pulled one out of the bucket after it was cut, 85% of the bucket was pure roots, I will have pictures later. They were vegged for ~35 days. They flowered for 53 days. After trimming all the buds, it weighed in at 276g wet. I had to take a bud off one about a week ago because it had some rot starting, it was 10.6 wet, and ended up 4.3 dry. I hope I keep that ratio with the rest =). I'm letting the other two go for another 3-5 days, I want them to be more body stone. I will add the pictures and the update on the other two on this same thread, so stay tuned!
Lookin forward to the pics and the smoke report! What seed bank? That's about a 40% of wet final harvest, so you'll probably get 110 grams (3.8 ounces) from the two plants! DId I do that math correcty? If so, :fly: Nice!
The Rx has a blue and purple Hue. The AK probably does too, the one that was left outside has turned a purpleish blue on the tips of all the calyx's. The seed bank - these were freebies from a seedboutique order. They most likely came from Nirvana. I went over to the grow house today to hange the buds, but forgot the camera. I will take the pictures tonight. I think I said this already, but I'll update any further AK info on this thread, no new ones, so if you, are indeed interested, stay tuned. I'll be chopping the other two in a few days. About 6 days from now I'll post the dry weight from the first two.
Here's my update. I made a slight mistake. The wet weight was BEFORE trimming. I ended up with 75g dry from the first two. The second two weighed slightly more wet, so I expect about the same from them. The ak-48 was not a superb specimen by any means; but, I did see that I could get over 1oz dry per 2gal hempy with the ak-48, and can fit 16 in my tent. My best Rx I cloned turns out to be the best yielder I've ever seen, so I'm thinking the clones from it in the same conditions will yield 2oz+. So I'm looking to FINALLY fill the grow space to its max and get ~.8g per watt next time around. edit update: ~155g dried. thx Gk
