Hey ok I made some thing that I think is hash but I am not sure. I took all my leafs from my harvested plant (it was about 1 ounce of leaf) and I did the blender method and when I straind it I got this green substance. I thought it was going to be blondish. So I dried it anyway and I got this green type hash if you wanna call it that. Can anyone tell me if I did it wrong. Or is this really hash? Can I smoke it? SOMEON PLEAS LET ME KNOW.

Well....you didnt really give us that much info, on what you did, or how you did it. Explain with details. If you did it how I think you did, then that my friend is not hash...

    1 = a leaf

    2 or more = leaves

Looks like all you got is ground up & strained leaves... Not hash.

Anyways... Moving thread to Hash & Oil forum.

    hashish

ok when I harvested my plant I saved all the leaves from it. including fan leaves and all. then I dryed them out, and grinded them up into a powder.I then took a blender and put water, ice cubes, and the powder (all the leafs chopped up) into it. and I blended for about 1 min. then I strained the substance through a metal coffee filter into a jar. Then I put the jar in my fridge and let it sit for like 1 hour. Then I straind all that after I let it sit through a paper coffee filter. Then I let it dry and then rolled it out.And that is all I did.

sounds like hash to me. according to this post any way.

    Blender Hash

Unlike other methods which use screens to filter the trichomes, the blender method uses the principle that the resin glands are heavier than water, while other plant material is not.

The blender method uses water, ice and agitation to dislodge the trichomes. Ice-water makes the trichomes brittle, causing the resin glands to solidify and become easy to snap off. The glands are heavier than water so they sink to the bottom when separated, while the plant material floats.

To make hash this way you'll need a blender, ice cubes, a reusable metal coffee filter or silk screening, a large glass jar and paper coffee filters.

Fill the blender about half-way with skuff, then cover with cold water and add a tray of ice cubes. Blend for 45 seconds to a minute – the mixture will become green and frothy, like a smoothie. Pour this mix through the metal coffee filter into your glass jar. Run more water through the filter to make sure you haven't missed any trichomes.

Once your jar is full, put it in the fridge to settle for a minimum of 30 minutes. You 0should be able to see a white or blonde coloured substance settling on the bottom of your container – those are the trichomes. Carefully, so you do not disturb the trichomes, pour off or siphon off about two-thirds of the green water.

If you have more skuff to process, do it now and filter into the container you just drained. Return to the fridge, allow to settle and siphon again. When you have processed all your skuff, add a few ice cubes to the container and let settle one last time.

If you want to increase the purity of your product you can carefully put this settled mixture back into the blender for a final mix and separation. This may or may not be necessary depending on your preference.

Pour the final mix of water and trichomes through a paper coffee filter. The water will pass through the paper but the glands will not. Drain well and allow to dry. You now have dried resin glands ready to be pressed into hash.

like snick said, it is just ground up pressed leaf matter.

that wont do shit for you, except give you a headache....

i suggest next time you go with bubble bags, or silk screening or something, i was never a firm beleiver in this blender hash method...

Well, its concentrated, and you probably did get the majority of the crystals in there. So it's still worth smoking IMO. May not be the best, by any means, but I bet you'll get good and baked.

i'm wondering why you're asking us if you can smoke it. if you can pull a piece off and put it in a pipe and light it, you can smoke it.

actually, it looks like a quarter and a piece of green felt to me.

are you sure you didn't buy this from someone and you're really asking if you got ripped off?

now chop's pic makes me droll all over myself.
