Im a beginner and im starting my first grow setup, I cant decide what 2 strains to keep as mothers, plz give me some ideas and advice. I want 1 cerebral type of high plant and 1 stoned and couch high, in other words if you guys had to choose 2 plants for yourselves what would it be, thanks.
THAT'S a can of worms. Kind of like asking "what'sthe best stone". Answer is different for everybody. My suggestion is to buy a breeder mix pack that contains a few strains that sound interesting to you, grow it out. Clone the girls and save the ones you like best. Other wise a simple answer is anything in the Mex Sativa realm and a strong Afghani indica mix. But then again...that's just me. cheers and good luck,
You can also have a little influence on the type of high by changing the time of harvest. But if you want a really soaring high you need a HAZE, though not really for a new grower, then for the couch a heavy indica.
White Widow - Easy to grow, very potent, reasonable flower times....can't go wrong. Be careful with the hazes, some strains take FOREVER to flower, and since this is your first grow, I'm sure you don't want to wait 15+ weeks for budz. Best to save them for round 2.
Mr.Nice super silver haze. But as TC mentioned it isn't easy so if this is your first round might want to get something cheaper to play with and learn the ropes with because that mr. nice shit isn't cheap.
Question...Are feminized seeds any different than regular seeds because ive seen some seed sites sell the regulars more than the feminized and also are feminized seed always %100 female?
Feminized seeds are different that regular seeds, in the way that they produce around 80-90% female offspring(some claim more) in normal conditions. NonFem seeds have an offspring ratio around 1:1 male/female under normal conditions. If you pop your seeds and veg in the right environment, your chances of female increase with standard seeds. Theres posts about this sort of thing if you check around.
POT OF GOLD,cant stress how narcotic it is,K2 or ICE is cerebral to.. K2 from Nirvana grown just right can be a lovely cerebral stone...but the pot of gold is like frigin heroin,pure narcotic man,im talking from my own grown experience apart from the chem dog which was maild to me from amsterdam.Peace:jj:
