I thought the search function used to work a little bit different. It seems now, it matches each individual word instead of a phrase. I tried searching for HPS Distance, and only got results for distance. I'm not trying to take up space with similar posts I've already done. but. Basically, I'm just curious how far is too far away for a 1000w, 150,000L HPS in a 3x3x6.5 grow tent[has the shiny white inside]. Also, any tips on searching would be appreciated.
We talked about this awhile back, when I using the MH conversion. It is cool enough to get it ~12 inches away... But, when I did it with the MH, i'm pretty positive that it shocked my plants. Then again, they were sprouts. I had ~14 days of no growth in my plants after that incident. They showed their cotyledons on Jan 28, it's been almost a month and they look like they're 2 weeks old. I've considered overwatering, but I doubt it. I used a 4 to 1 perlite vermeculite mix, and the drain holes aren't clogged. The only thing the plants have shown is some drooping and a slight lightened colour of green. I couldn't find any other explanation other than the intense light. But, still, do you know any good 'search tips'? Maybe some tricks on finding what you want to find...
so...it's hempy? It very easy to shock the plant in the early stages of hempy...they grow very slowly until the roots get to the res at the bottom.

Air cooled hood. 6", 424 CFM. My grow space is usually 72, but I HAVE seen it get up to 76 one day in the middle of the day; however I'm pretty sure the ambient temperature was higher that day. Still, any tips out there for searching?
I think that's all ya can do is a WORD search. Edit:Advanced search has also to look for titles but I don't know how good that will do ya, you'll prob have to have the exact title.
Oh, I see. I forgot about advanced search *DUH*. :roulette: Many times, I do remember the exact title.. =) Oh, and I see you can search by the user, I remember now. I've done that before... Thanks man.

For some reason, I am thinking the search used to search even 3 letter words. Like 4-5 years ago maybe. Not sure. But I've been trying some different methods, and am finding out how to utilize it to the best of it's ability. :icon_farao: - W
