picked up something new at the hydro shop and just kinda curious if anyone has ever used it...its called humboldt county`s own purple maxx snow storm and also got a free sample of their gravity flower hardener. gonna give it a shot tonight! anyone ever seen or heard of it even? the guy at the hydro shop said it is fairly new and most of it is just being sold in california.
Yeah i've used it but whats weird ever since i used the purple maxx snow storm on a plant i revegged all the clones from that parent are now purple. This doesn't mean it will happen to you cause we used it on some other plants or the same strain and some from other strains like WW, haze, ice, and mysty and the only one plant from my skunk#1xcalio batch took to the purple tint. I couldn't tell any difference in trich production all though that revegged plant that turned purple the trichs on it did seem to increase the second time around just a tad but not much. the gravity i use was a small sample vial and really wasn't enough to see what it does if anything, they didn't seem any more dense than ussual. So are you going to use the MAxx for the last three weeks? I would suggest going low on it if you have to feed one last time the first time you use it cause it will cause rapid nutrient uptake atleast i did notice that. It is deffinately better to use with water only! NOw if you wanted to know if i would buy this stuff after trying it out my answer would have to be no! reason being it didn't really seem to do much of anything at all except help drain the nutes the last weeks and kill off a lot of chlorophyll to help the drying/curing process.
haha thats crazy about the mothers clones all being purple! what strain was it? i wonder what the secret is that they put in that stuff...at first i was like oh great your trying to sell me something that stressed the plant to turn it purple. the guy at the hydro shop swore up and down on the shit tho. that sucks you werent too impressed with it, guess ill just use the small ammount i bought and see what happens. what do you use for your buds? i tried dr hornbys big bud..i liked it but im at that experimental stage on ferts right now so i thought id try a few new ones out. anyways thanks for the heads up on that stuff ill let you know how it goes
This stuff could be lacking trace elements. I know there some purple strains yes. But in my strains when a plant turns purple something is wrong.
Yeah thats exactly what i thought to but it has persisted all thorugh veg and flower! with no other problems either and the trich formation is even better than before. I've feed high phos and nothing, little high K and nothing. waited till next feed gave the purple ones some extra high phos and still nothing. there is no purple in the stem veins or anything just the leaves and caylxes. Its skunk#1xcalio and it looks almost identical to my first gen superskunk thats purple. starz yeah i used some of that bud blood and carbo load and the big bud from AN and it worked alright but for all of veg i used just shitty GH flora 3-part.
i just had shoulder surgery on wed so i am having a hard time getting on the computer still but when i do maybe i will set up some pics with a gro using this product so we can all see the diference...but untill then i need to keep myself medicated and rest ~blaze one for me~

thanks mary and kitty the surgery went well and now im just puffin on the blunts all my friends rolled me and healing up...ever tried to roll a 1 handed blunt? if anyone has a method let me know cuz i only got 1 more left for the day and everyone else is at work haha
