Ice and bubbler

Hello GK,


The plants are Ice from Nirvana. These were not started in rapid rooters just wet paper towel to cloner to bucket. They are half way through week 4 flower in this pic. They are generally uniform and I have "spiked the punch" once basically that's where in veg I give it a ridiculously hot nute mix and see which lock out and how bad. There is one plant #5 that is very bushy and heavy indica dom that took it in stride so she's the heavy feeder but she's not the biggest. # 1,3,4 and 5 are indica dom with #2 showing heavy sativa characteristics. To orient you in the far left corner is #5 to her right is 4 then an empty bucket. (9 of 10 seeds germed 5 were chicks) 3 is front left 2 front middle and the little one is #1 she was just a shortie little runt from germ she has a very thick stem and is the one that has the odd sideways bud on top.

I'm guesstimating prolly between 12-14 oz from 5 plants. Next round will be of clones so I will get my normal 15-18oz from 6 plants. I could get "more" but I make a shit ton of bubble hash and BHO so anything not top notch goes into the hashpile. THere is nothing better than some good shiney chunk hash in a bong while drinking a good IPA... FUCK it's only 1230 in the afternoon to early to start with beers n hash... Steel

Awesome Plants & glass-Bud

 

Very nice indeed. Is the pvc for support? Do you tie the plants to it? Anything up higher for support?


Ignore the Granddaddy Purp? Are you crazy? That bubbler looks cool. My wife and I got a couple new glass bongs about 2 months ago. They were a little tall like yours looks. They are nice and all, but we also have one like your plastic one and we switched back to it. It's more comfortible to use together. Single hit bowls and the glass ones get a little "heavy" for my wife. Nice line up. If we got together we could just keep swapping pipes around till we nodded.

 

Thanks all. Pvc is not for support it's the feed line. I have screws in the wall behind all the plants and add screws to the ceiling as needed for support.


I vegged these plants just over 2 weeks in the cloner with a 400w MH over it. I ran the Horizontal 1kw for veg in the buckets for 2 weeks. At 2 weeks flower I turned on the vertical 1kw. I repositioned it a little more over the empty bucket.


As far as her bubbler being used she used it first. We went to the headshop together and I just set a price limit.


I have been getting a great variety lately Green Crack and GDP have been my favs. The granddaddy has a minty fruity lavender type flavor. I have a few other pieces I have made out of aluminum on the lathe.

Well here is an update. This past saturday was week 8 for these bitches. They've been flushing for 12 days already so #1 the little one is getting whacked today she is DONE 70% amber tri's. Some of these gals were super calmag whores but I didn't want to lockout any of the others so I kept it light. Next rounds will be better since I can lock down the nutes. I'll put the calmag whores together. The rest will be processed this weekend. Thanks MLK for getting me the day off... Enjoy the show!

















#1 she dies today!!!











Here's my 4 bucket setup it's been running for a week now. The shot of the coupler is a standard 1" barbed connector sanded a little to fit a 3/4" PVC coupling. The upper lines are safety drains so to speak. They're still getting comfy in their new digs so I'll update after I flip the switch.

RR, Best I could do was go back to the original and use a crop area of 1280x960 that plant is #1 which got the axe this morning and is already hanging. Doesn't look the same all trimmed down. The first is from 4/5 wks for comparison.

 

I thought that was the long mutant bud.

Hey Steel, do you prune the bottom branches and leaves off the bottom of all your plants?

 

RR it's not round more of an ellipse of sorts at the top of the bud. I plan to smoke it just to make sure it's not mutated in a good way. LoL I do have clones of all these plants except #3 she pissed me off so her clones found the trash. Show bananas what so ever on my watch and feel my wrath! After sobering up I realized that she was one of the mag def plants and may have been stressed by lockout not genetics whoops... Live and Learn

Yes I do. I trim at least 2 or 3 of the first branches from the bottom off and a lot of little stuff up until about week 4 flower. I figure the root structure is there already why let it support something that may end up in the hash pile when it can help out a bud that actually has some mass up higher on the plant. I try to trim anything that doesn't get direct light not to the letter but for the most part.

Update. This is all ICE after my first run I kept 3 phenos out of 5. I just refer to them as 1,2 and 4. 1 is a nice sat/ind that had the "mohawk" bud of last run. It goes about 8 weeks till 30% amber has a fruity overtone. 2 is a sativa dom with just the right amount of indica to produce nice large colas. She is skunky and tastes like skunky diesel fuel thick smoke. Grows like a spider monkey! 4 is short and staunchy very indica and stinks to high heaven like shit. Flavor is weedy nothing stands out in the flavor just like good smooth weed smoke. I smoke an eigth or 2 a day so I can't comment on high for any of them all I can say is yes I do one young family member smoker really thought I laced it with something when he smoked #4. I should have spiked it with hash got him good. Anyways on with the pics...


This is a #2 at 9 weeks.





Also a #2 These 2 will be coming down sunday and monday. I guessitimate about 3-4 oz per plant. There were 2x #1's in the other side but they got whacked earlier this week.
