My wife told me about this article, I didn't read it myself, or get alot of details. Basically they took a load of kids from mothers who did not smoke MJ, and a load of kids from mothers who did. The children from the mothers who did smoke MJ scored higher rather consistently. I immediately attributed the higher scores to this: When you're a new mother especially, or father - it is easy to get over whelmed and stressed out. I'm guessing the mothers smoking a bowl here and there helped them calm down and spend a higher % of quality time. I highly doubt it has anything to do with it being in their blood or smoking while pregnant or anything like that.
I think it it's 50/50 for PEOPLE in Jamaica that smoke regularly. I'll have to look into that... I thought the same thing, but a friend that used to live there told me it was 50/50.
That sounds plausible.. I would imagine it all comes down to a greater understanding and communication between mother and child.. I have a 20 month old daughter. I know when Im stoned, I can totally understand her gibberish, and everything else she says. Its pretty cool.. But seriously, when im stoned I take a lot more time to stop and listen to her wants n needs. I can really understand her a lot better. Granted I dont smoke oftenI(parole), u could say I smoke occasionally. Mainly to achieve a graeter spiritual grasp.. GFam
