I know this probably belongs in the Strains and Crosses. I'm seeing that I can buy 10 seeds for ~230.00 US. Is it really worth it? Why so expensive? Is it a true breeder? I'm starting to see that alot of the OLD original funky nugget strains are now more expensive than the new. Is it because people have begun to bugger up the blood lines so much that there is no telling what's in them, or what's going to be expressed in the grow? I want a very exotic strain to add to my collection. I'm thinking about Jack Herer or something from Sam The Skunkman.
I would definitely recommend the Jack Herer if you can get the real deal. It's amazing. I know a grower that has the real Jack Herer and the potency is just amazing! It tastes really good and cures up to be smooth, but the potency and high are just one of the best I've had. It's not the prettiest bud or a big yielder but IMO it's still worth getting. I'm going to try and get some clones from the grower I know. I don't know about that price but if the genetics are true then maybe it's because it's the real genetics and not someone's version of the original.
Suppose it's like anything else Wiz. Once you get a something that's popular enough for people start throwing knock-offs the real deal becomes that much more valuable. Kind of like trying to buy an Austin Healey Mk III or a kit imitation. At first glance both look the same and are fun to drive but only one is legit and you gotta pay $$$$$ for it.
Jack Herer. Unique. I worked through 10 beans and came up with what I thought was and is still one of my loves. It's amazing the difference you find in a strain like this - momma was something special, smell you dream about and a buzz that ... shit, I've had a post that demonstrates it. You know that buzz that puts you in a pleasant place... They are not all this way, but worth the work to find that special one. There are hidden secrets in the seeds. Think about the origins of the best strains... In my book, it'll be worth the effort for the cost of a half ounce. I'll await your pictures of your future grow. Grow on brother! ~Kojak
