Does anyone know what this is? A few leaves on a couple of my plants have these spots that showed up over night. There are no bugs, it doesn't appear to be mold and I can't figure it out. Any help will be appreciated. They're in hydro (ebb n flow), useless formula, week5 (could it be the MOAB 1/2 strength). Thanks /monthly_2012_08/leaf.jpg.1f83fb3c951633eeb6770c8b1f7ca67e.jpg
Ph is 5.9. Calibrated the meter before I tested last night. /monthly_2012_08/leaf2.jpg.c8fbbf8b0c2169010a318e8a34873c0a.jpg /monthly_2012_08/leaf3.jpg.0e192fc83fd4e7d86900088c0bfb1e87.jpg
uuuuuuuug well hps pics kind of hard to read but lets check this. Can you get a ppm reading on your solution?? The spotting may be your running a little hot if your ph is right or you might be experienceing some salt build up in the solution. If the ppm readings check with the formula I would flush the hell out of em and see if it makes a differance. t6
I'm guessing it's due to the MOAB and the solution being a little bit hot. Probably not a real issue to worry about. Top off with plain water to lower the concentration a little bit. Also check the pH. The MOAB can cause a little more pH swing than when running the formula without it. A small amount of damage to a few leaves won't be detrimental to the overall outcome of the grow. :redbong:
From THE MAN himself. I thought that it might be P overdose, but I wanted to see what others thought too before I told jr that it was. At first I thought Cal MAg issue, but thenn I learned he was in week 5 using the MOAB. asssit:
differant strains take the formula differant. Some will take the full blast and love it others seem to prefur a lesser dose. Just a matter of personal preferance but I always run the formula 20% light and usually have great results. If it were my grow I would do a flush and go lighter on the nutes. t6
