what light cycle should i use for them, and does a air purifer that can give off ions any good, and does ventilation make it grow better
ventilation does make your plant grow better they need to breath.if your just growing in a closet by opening the door to water them will be enough ventilation.lighting i get better results with 24/0 flowering 12/12
It would be helpful to know more about what you're growing in. Other than that, ventilation is very very important for indoor grows. You need a constant supply of fresh air moving in, while simultaneously moving out. Yes, ventilation does make them grow better. Veg lighting depends on what light your using, I've heard of floros working well under 24/0, and 400 hps under 18/6, even better. Flower should be 12/12 unless specified differently by the strain or previous grower. Air purifiers only work for keeping the oder under control, not for helping the plants in any way. It should be left outside the room or at the exhaust but nowhere near the intake.
jay is right, ventilation is very important. Newbies often pull off decent crops with less than optimal ventilation. Then are amazed when they finally get good ventilation. You will increase both yield and potency with good ventilation. Bringing in fresh air and exhusting grow room air will greatly increase your yeild. I almost forgot, you can grow under both 24/0 and 18/6. 16/8 is even used by some legends. Use whatever you like. 16/8 does slow growth, but the other two will do the same work imo. 18/6 may slow growth, but not enough that you will notice. You need good ventilation htownrecords, and get an oscilating fan if possible to move the freah air around a bit. I use 18/6 and 12/12 for flowering, seems to be working well so far.
