Leaves dry far quicker than the buds do. I would imagine that within a few days they will probably be dried out enough. I think I'm confused though...you are sifting though, right? If you are, then you need to pull off the trichomes to get what your looking for. Simply using the dried out leaves will not do the trick. You need bud and your original question was can I use a male plant.....(yes you can) but leaves themselves aren't going to do it.

nevermind the leaves..sea of green reign supreme :)

Im pretty sure that you cannot make hash from the leaves alone if at all.In the video that is being referred to i think is called stoned free which can be viewed here http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-259262713655286519&q=stoned+free but if you watch and listen closely im pretty sure that what the guy is sifting is actually dried out bud and not leaves but i could be wrong.Forget the leaves man, grow some bud and clone your plant over and over and get a sea of green going then we dont need to worry bout those pesky males, lol.Smoke on.

depends on the extraction method you use, whether the leaves will be useful or not. what are u doin'?

i am currently growing 3 females in 1 pot and the male came from another seed in its own pot which makes me pretty lucky to have 3 females growing in 1 pot especially because all i basically did was throw the seeds in and set it outdoors if i had even 1 male plant in the pot i would have probably threw it all out and started over i wish i could watch the video but my speakers resently broke

Blazeone im glad to hear you have copped some females but if i could gve you a wee bit of advice it would be to seperate those females A.S.A.P cos sooner or later they are all gonna start fighting for root space and they gonna get all tangled and shit, this happened to me once and iv never grew more than one plant in a pot at a time ever since!Dont get me wrong you CAN seperate them and they CAN survive the stress but it aint worth the hassle my friend,if they are still young then try re-potting them soon as you can but if they are too ar gone then try and repot all of them in a much bigger pot and if they are definetly females then the best piece of advice i could give and that was ever given is to take cutings from your plant and pot themin soil, keep it moist and hey resto you got yourself a few more females ad your well on your way to getting a sea of green on the way.Iv just added aother garden to the site with better pics and bigger plants n a proper garden set up but they probably wont be added by the admin/mods til maybe tomorrow, anyway im interested to see how your grow goes, take plenty of pictures!Smoke on
