just built more tables and tested them one table isn't draining all the way...maybe 1/4" of water at best. I need these up tonight. Is this going to hurt anything? Can I just throw hydroton in the bottom to give less room for actual liquid Worried this will lead to root rot
fuck if I know? Guess the plastic is slightly warped where the drain is....just a tad higher, I was hoping it wouldn't hurt, WTF do I do? I have to move forward tonight with this....you think it would hurt anything for a day or two?
ez cowboy....don't heat anything up id say holding water in the entire tray? like 1/4 inch from front(where drains are) all the way to the back? personally, id just put something thin under the back corners to lift them up a lil bit I dunno, tape together 2 pieces of cardboard and put em under the back corners to help it flow more but if its at the drain section only (front holes) then id say who cares....nothings perfect.....I mean, hempys sit in water as a rule and what happenes to them????
half the tray holding a little less than 1/4...going to add some hydroton under the pot just to take up volume
Are your bulheads in the center? If the tray and stand are level it should drain. Hydroton will just float away when it floods. I'd shim up the low part till it drains its best. A little fluid left over wont be too big a problem.
